I still would like to have a layer of protection between the bed and the mattress. I have Luno Mattress for my 2019 Hyundai Sante Fe but hesitate to get one for my Tacoma.
Why wouldn’t they make an internal pump with a cable that could just be plugged into the Tacoma bed outlet?? Makes 0 sense. I have a Walmart air mattress with the internal pump that is 100x easier to set up than this, only perk is the cut out for the wheel wells on this guy

Get a Tacoma bed mat from your local dealership's part department.

Bring dust tape in case.
Find out how it holds up to dog nails. I would have two dogs laying on this too.
The material is a nice and thick non rubber. I honestly feel it would hold up pretty good.

Not sure. Maybe if the pump ever when out it’s easier to replace just a pump than the whole mattress?
