They are like a lesson to the younger generation and to all people to allow yourself to be classy, creative, unique and stylish. Go all the way. If you have talent be thankful, use it to the max and play with it. Test the boundaries. Get together and be cool yet humble like it used to be. You don't need a whole lot of equipment just pure passion and simplicity. Prince comes to mind somehow. Such enchanting, soulful, beautiful and aesthetic musical creations Khurangbin provides to lovers of music. And let's face it - the true musical genious is Marc but he'd probably deny it. DJ and Laura are just perfect in their function and skill as well though. They are a lovely unit. Thank you. Much Love.

A band that defies cliché. It's like they should not exist. But they do. One of the most original bands out there.

This is really just a vibraphone solo away from sounding like a classic Roy Ayers joint.
Continually amazed at how much they can do within the confines of their style and only being 3 people. This is really taking me back to the "acid jazz" sounds of the 90's.

There's no confines. Their influences go from Vietnam, to zamrock, to Brazilian and mexican funk, to Californian soul, to dub, Malian folk ethiojazz...like their abilities are never ending.

Saw them live in Oct. 2021 and Mark played this so wicked. They opened the show with this and it was incredible.

Big Daddy Kane opened up then Lee Fields and The Expressions came on, unbelievable show.
That's awesome. They opened with the same in Toronto, someone fainted halfway during the song and the band made sure the person was doing okay before restarting the song from the intro so we got to hear that kickass bassline again haha. They were incredible indeed. A longer improvised version of Lady and Man was probably the best part of the show!🤘🏼
