I think this is an excellent addition to the channel, you can have a Chris teaches Justin, so that people who have never worked on a bike before can benefit, its almost like doing a 1 on 1
It has been awhile since I have seen ANY ONE thing that IMPROVED the look of a motorcycle more than this swing arm !!! I really enjoyed watching the install ... appreciate your sharing !!!
I don't think that nightster he's building is for the build off. Pretty sure they'll be releasing videos in tandem when it goes down. I think they said in fall, but I could be wrong.
Stock looked far better to me . That stock V shape was far cleaner and sleek. Also you loose some storage like swing arm bags. It might be good for people who wants get any performance increase by reducing wait.
I just wanna say I love you guys! I just started watching your channel recently and man it’s by far my favorite channel!! I just got a 2007 FLHXand I would love to have it built up and of course you guys! I’m hailing all the way from New Hampshire but eff yeah I’d bring my bike to you guys! My bike has just under 45K miles on her but I have no intention of gets rid of her anytime soon!!
Have y’all ever thought about picking a day and letting fans share good news? Like “Good News Mondays” for example I would say I just became a published author on Amazon. If it does well I’ll be coming to see y’all with a motorcycle
I see this question being asked, nothing dramatically changes with the handling with the swing arm. It’s at stock length so there is no major geometry changes 🤙
I got hit by tundra on my low rider. S. Dented my swing arm now I ordered a bad a** Track dynamics aluminum one. Frames a little tiny bit bent in one spot near belt. But I think with the new swing arm we can get it straight again😅
For me, I don’t feel any major difference in how the bike feels or handles. It’s at a stock length (vs like an extended swingarm) so geometry feels same.
Cool vid love that swing arm replacement.....irrelevant question live in the uk and have a 2022 street bob 114 and bought some cheap forwards to see if i like them (5"11 and have two blood clots in my leg so need comfort which the forwards do) and i do, so want to take the plunge and get some better quality forwards, but find with the ones i have now my heels of my boots scrape the floor are there any quality forwards that dont cost the earth and adustable to stop me scraping? all i can find on the official harley sites are the same design i have now but very expensive. What brands are there you would recommend?
Yo yo mah man…seems as tho your statement was a bit judgemental. Maybe he want’s to chain drive it and isn’t made of money, I mean he spent a fair amount of money on all his parts, shit aint free around here…jus sayin
@@sickwideglidei know parts are expensive 2800$ bucks for a swing arm aint cheap but i still feel like my statement was true most people dont have sponsors or mechanics just on hand so doing thing more completely makes more senes
Why would anyone spend $45 thousand dollars for a bike .Just to put another $5 thousand or so in for a better ride.this should all already be set up for a comfortable ride from the dealership. Gold wing is ready from day one. For a nice long ride.i did this in 85 .road from northern CA to south west Missouri. 700 miles a day.butt didn't hurt or legs and arms.thats what you need.that name no mean shit if you can't enjoy a long ride from day one.

Wow, what a difference. I had to remind myself that I was looking at a Softail. Looks great.
You guys are great at making a somewhat simple addon look so fun. It looks great btw!
Looks good, but I would never put one on my Heritage. Definitely a quality piece.
Looks great, Justin.
✊
i liked the look of the bike with the new swing arm
Looks great without the top bar!
Looks awesome! Great job guys 😎
Yo! Where is the build-off vlogs ? Ryan is goin ham out there and I’m ready to see what yall got up ur sleeve for that thang!!✌️

@@JWLLMZwhat? Ryan has several rg videos out already.
They're coming. Good things take time. 😁
@@TableTopBiker the nightster?
We've been bamboozled on the build off. Lol
Very exciting video.
I have a softail slim. I would love to do a build much like this bike.

Swingarm looks ok, but if i change it out i prefer the Kruesi Originals Dyna swingarm conversion.
Great looking!!

That is a beautiful swing arm, and I like your shock like that
Ayee 👍
Swingarm looks awesome. I like the reservoir, but not in that spot.
Excellent video and great product, you guys do great work. Best Regards from Adelaide, Australia.

The anxiety shirt Chris is wearing… 🔥 😂😢😬😳🙌🤞
I couldn’t resist buying it when I saw it!!
Now you’ll have to do a chain drive conversion. Bike will look better

Is Chris drinking a Big Blue soda, he is cool ❄️
Looking one for my lowrider st now 💪🏼💪🏼
👀
We say Bobs your uncle in Australia,Chris you are now an honorary Aussie yea Mate.
Well now you need a Brembo front to match! 😁
👀
Looks sick, how much? and how about a ride review to see if you notice any difference in the ride and handling
Super clean!
Nice Justin!
@@tomvail6207 Thanks Tom!
Cool new part really nice bike
Looks good, see your still rocking the IL plates, you’re missed out here
Haha yea! It’ll be changing to FL plates soon. I do miss the Midwest from time to time
That bike is sick! Only thing I’m not a fan of is the dual one-sided exhaust, if it were me I’d go 2 into 1 but to each’s own!
Sorry, no outboard reservoir 😕... Clean up your act... The swing arm is badass🏁
Go Justin go. Nice look and yes cool.
Thank you! 🙏
Very cool , but you guys forgot to remove the axle from the new swingarm when doing the weight comparison.
If I lived in Orlando, I'd bring you guys coffee and donuts all the time.
External mount shock res. Gotta get it powder coated or something to make it pretty though
SICK!

I like it opens it up more so see more of tire a rim
Agree
Honestly looks dope to be honest! Chris is just jealous 🤣
If you book service at Blochead Garage. Rest well knowing that your ride is in the hands of a 27-year H-D Master Mechanic.
Of all the languages in the world, you chose to speak facts 👏👏👏
Drops 7 lbs and looks great. Does it do anything for traction or performance ?
In my opinion, no major difference, doesn’t change the geometry or handling.
Don't even why I'm watching this when I'm still deciding on my seat and mufflers on my 21 RG 😅
I wouldn't personally mount that reservoir that way... but you do you.
How did this new suspension improve the quality of your ride ?
Raised it about a half inch, def better but I still want to upgrade to an aftermarket shock
make sure you use the service recall bolt lol
That thing needs some polished krusei original wheels
Yo Ryan has been built that street glide and has already said when he returns from sturgis it’s goin to Trask for a turbo build on the 135!
That's a sick-looking swingarm on that bike. Kinda makes me wonder if I could find something like that for my Dyna.
They do make them for Dyna! 👍🏼
@@BlockheadMoto awesome!
That looks sharp.
Let us know how the ride changes. (if at all)
Damn i need that swingarm for my lowrider s.
👀
Looks great! Will you be doing a follow up vid &/or review of how it handles?
I see this question being asked, nothing dramatically changes with the handling with the swing arm. It’s at stock length so there is no major geometry changes 🤙
It handles the exact same😂
Shoulda put the new absorbers on the sw😢Ingram isolators with the green inserts so it’s less vibe.
I'm going to throw the breakout shock an external adjuster on my ST
👏👏

Do they makes these swing arms for RK's?
Wishing swing arms weren’t $3k 😂😂🥃
It’s sik
Question: did you have the option to go with a wider tire
The reservoir is in a legit spot, I think it sticks out just a little too far
Is there a benefit aside from weight savings and aesthetics?
For me, I don’t feel any major difference in how the bike feels or handles. It’s at a stock length (vs like an extended swingarm) so geometry feels same.
Need a chain drive now
👀
Yo get that stuff down here at Berts Black widow
just mount another reservoir on the other side and put some tassels on it lol

Hell. Yeah. Brother 🤘🏼
What's the difference swingarm old verse new. Other than lighter.
Sheeeesh. That brembo tho 🔥🔥🔥
Looks great . With the shock you should have a noticeable difference.
Dope swing arm! And sorry man but not cool. Mount the reservoir under the seat

That 7lbs difference, that’s unspung weight?
What's with the rainbow shorts 🤔
Thery’re not rainbow but hey, whatever you insecure or somethin?

How much does that cool cost? It looks great and you lost 8 pounds.
Tuck that adjuster underneath the seat man.
had all that apart at some point put new rotors now new swing arm and caliper but still have that ugly ass stock rear pulley

That rear brake is way to big for a motorbike
