I was hoping to get real help in this video. I tried Squadcast and Descipt and it was an absolult nightmare. Nothing is working smoothly. Totally unintuitive. Usually I am working with Davinci and everything is fine. But Squadcast and Descript is a mess. In contrary to your usecase a Interview via Squadcast is a two file thing. Your own and that of your interviewee. Couldn´t manage the two files that have to be synced. Descript does not do it by itself, so what is the point of integration. Even single sign in Squadcast and descript, nope. German transcription, you can choose it, but didn´t work. It is just marketing, nothing is working... Most frustrating experience ever..
This is very unfortunate. Our best recommendation to you is to keep your Davinci workflow. It sounds like you like free things like Davinci and even though you get Squadcast for free with Descript doesn't mean you need to edit in descript. Just be grateful you dont have to pay for Squadcast seperately.
