this is probably the most underrated anime i've ever seen, 2017 was a very good year for anime, so maybe most people just didn't notice this series

This song is so beautiful.. I just don’t have words for it.. every time I’m sad or angry I listen to this song and I always find a reason to be happy! The anime really got me crying.. but it was so beautiful.. it tought me how to move on!.. if someone dies you can’t stay sad about that! You have to move on!... thank you for teaching me that.. This anime is super underrated. It is similar to Attack on Titan in concept. These people who does not know about the people outside of their island. What is beyond this island? Why do the Marked live shorter lives? Why are they considered cursed people. Why are outside people trying to kill them? The brutality. In my opinion, I love this much better than Attack On Titan. Ouni is kind of like Eren.
Love the animation, music, art, and I thought the MC was a girl but it's refreshing for a guy to have this kind of fashion but also not too girly looking. Our MC is also an archivist which is so fresh. I guess I wish some characters have more depth but it's hard to do in 12 episodes. The manga does a good job at character depth, especially Oruka. I give the anime 9/10.

We sooo need to sign a petition for season 2! The manga has such an incredible potential. I can't stand having such a masterpiece not animated for everyone to see it. But anyway, I think one good step we can take is to introduce people to the manga :)
