Mahouka have lots of good OP and ED songs, even in the latest season. But this ED song is my personal favorite. Its not even the nostalgia, the song is just that good and it fits the series the most. I read the LN and the sequel of it, the magia company. What this song convey perfectly fits the series.

SPOILERS If you actually read the light novel, the concept of this song would make a lot more sense. This is in fact a song not about Tatsuya but for herself. In vol 16, there is a part there where she is just about to give up on everything and out right denies that her feelings for Tatsuya are considered abnormal and immoral and will never be accepted whilst a younger version of herself is in the mirror convincing her otherwise. Telling her that even if her current *adult* self chooses to go through with the marriage to her mystery fiance her only duty would be to provide an heir and leave everything else in concern to the child to its nanies and instead be selfish and be with Tatsuya. Bunch of other shit they debate about what she really want until the version of her in the mirror finally convinces her and admits to all her selfish desires. "To marry no one but Onii-sama, make love to no one but Onii-sama, and live for no one but onii-sama, those are my deepest desires" Basically she had been denying that half of herself for so long because she feared that Tatsuya will be disgusted by her. By the end she finally accepts her feelings and acknowledges it and becomes one with the younger her. well that's just me though. 😂😂😂😂

Literally the first time I happened to hear this after watching an episode of Irregular, I rushed here to find a full version. Beautiful! There's just a mix of melody and music that creates this feeling of... agency to be listened to, like it's demanding to be payed attention to. Very much like the ED2 of Nodame Cantabile.
