whoever chose this song for the show deserves a fuckin raise, I rewatched the show recently because I needed something to watch while on train rides, and damn, do I need a season 2
This series is sooo underrated, like please. So many people ignore it bc of a 'bad plot' or they just didn't know about it. If it was given more attention, we'd have a season 2. And if we had a season 2, we'd have the plot thickening and getting better. One season just isn't enough to cover it.
Whenever I feel sad, I just need to listen to this and I immediately feel okay again Children of the Whales is the best anime, it’s my number one favorite
Incredible anime. I remember watching it when it came out in 2017 and loving it. I just recently decided to rewatch it and its still as amazing. Specifically always loved the ending song. Just so purely euphoric and beautiful. Deserved a second season, so sad it didnt do so well.
I still wonder what a second season of this anime would look like ... the manga is nearly finished in english ( only one volume is not yet translated ) and I hope one day the anime covers all of the remaining volumes even though it seems impossible now
