    What a great mini-vacation. Kayaking, hiking, and lots of peace and quiet. Very healthy for body and mind.

    Great video. Eating a salad while I watch you make that delicious looking taco made me want to come eat supper with you.

    Your babies are so sweet and I enjoyed seeing you eat, wash dishes while talking to us. I love this video. Watching you on the water reminded me of Marjorie Kinnan Rawling's Cross Creek. Lovely, lovely video and so relaxing.

    Thanks for the discussion re: Tabs. Good perspective from a SunRay owner. I'd rather spend $$ amount of money than $$$$. Specially when you can't stand up in them. 😮

      agree, i ended up trading my sunray in for the little guy max because of the of the quality, but now that I am in the little guy, there are still issues that would be in any camper. I do miss my sunray. it was the perfect size and setup for one.

      @@followingchrissy I'm looking at the 149 cuz of your videos. Perfect size mini mobile cabin for solo traveling with a pup. But yeah, those quality issues...

      @@HerrP58 but even with that, I would not hesitate to go back to that camper. :) I guess there really is not that perfect camper out there.

    One of my favorite places. I too enjoy solo camping. It recharges me. Happy camping! Oh, and very nice setup you have. Still a ground dweller here but may graduate someday.

      Aww. Find somewhere close to home or even just in the back yard. It's like playing house in an adult doll house. :)

    Have you thought about adding a awning to your camper? Sunset park doe’s make them for the 149 camper.

    • @followingchrissy
      @followingchrissy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought about it, but decided i didnt want to add the hardware. I do have a kedar rail so I am playing around with that.

    • @stephennemeth24
      @stephennemeth24 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lederhosen rail would work great. Less weight. Another nice place to camp is Potts Preserve river camp. Not sure if you have been there.

      Keder rail. Sorry about the I-pad misspelling.

      @@stephennemeth24 I actually own a pair of Lederhosen from my time living in Bavaria, Germany. So I was curious about that. :)

    Love your videos, I watch you doing your dishes and you use way to much water soon you will run out of water, and have to refill them again, there is ways to conserve your water. I use to make the same error at the beginning of my camping trips. and will run out of water ,it was an inconvenience until I learn to manage my water while dry camping. Just a little advice. your RV is adorable , and you dogs. Enjoy your travels.

      Good advice. I would surely run out if I was staying longer than the weekend. Thanks for the advice. I will have to start paying better attention to that.

    Great video, loved the camping spot. You have so many places to camp in FL with lots of space. How far do you usually travel to a camping spot? I live in NH and the campgrounds all seem so crowded. Thank you for sharing your camping trips. I have not tried dry camping yet but it’s on my list of things to do this summer. How much solar do you have? Liked the drone video too. Dogs are so cute

      I usually travel up to 2 hours away for weekend trips and up to 10 hours for longer. I have 2 - 100 watt panels on the roof of my camper and a 100 watt portable solar panel since I am usually parked in the shade. Has been plenty for me. Camping is my therapy. :)

    How long did the battery power last?

    • @followingchrissy
      @followingchrissy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My Battery lasts all night and recharges during the day. Thankfully I had 2 100watt panels so I was still able to get charge through the trees. I used very little power though. Just tv for a few hours.

    Have you had any problems with your sunray trailer?

    • @followingchrissy
      @followingchrissy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Minor issues. The AC that came with it died in a year, but it was easily replace with a 5000 btu window unit. I did have a few of the water lines leak, i replaced the ones that leaked with copper joints.
