Traffic noise! You are right about that, we always stay in Cypress Glen a little further away from I 75. There are some trails in back side of Crooked River that lead to the old girl scout camp. They had screen cabins hanging on power poles. You can see a couple still but most have fell. if you find the trail that leads to where the river goes into the lake there used to be a cable Swinging bridge that was built by the cc back in the depression days. Heard it was set on fire back in late 70s, you can see where the bases are and where the cable attached. there is another campground on the Sumter County side there. Ride the rail to trails north to Nobleton there are some good restaurants there. Also Mexican Restuarant on SR 50 east of I 75 has really good food.
Wow, this is all great information information. We are actually heading back to Cypress Glen Campground in July so we will definitely check all this out. Thanks so much.!!!
We have been to the Richloam Store when camping at Colt Creek State Park. There was a guy playing a banjo outside. We bought some country ham and ice cream. The Dade battlefield near Bushnell is about 30 minute drive from Richloam and worth a visit. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hey guys, great video and you were close to where we were staying last winter. Down 301 toward north of Dade City at Town and Country RV Resort. We are in Elizabethtown/Hersey KOA this summer and spending next fall/winter in Summerfield Florida. Silverlake is where my boat broke before leaving for our summer trip. Take care
You do such a great job at finding and showing Floridas finest. We were trying to find a campground near there. Lisa’s parents are buried at the National Cemetery close to there. She says thank you for info on the camp😊. Hope to see you both soon. Bring your e-bikes.
@@AlliChuckAdventures oh man. We’re booked. Having a baby shower for our first grand baby and other family commitments. But we’re definitely booking silver lake soon.
Love watching your vids. A similar pace to our travel style. We are from the PNW (pacific north west) on Whidbey Island so the opposite corner of the country. Maybe we'll be down there in 3 or 4 years. PS: your vids, editing, photography, and editing are getting better and better.

Brooksville...my home. I love riding the Withlacoochie State Trail. Main Street and all the murals are cool, too.
It is definitely a cool little town that we will check out again soon.

Great editing.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Not a big fan of traffic noise, but looks like a cool place to visit. No thank you to the gator in that mud puddle.
Yeah we were pretty shocked when we saw his head poke out.
KUTGW
Thanks!
