Always loved the "Sontar-Haka". This two parter is an odd one for me, as I was in New Zealand on holiday when it aired in 2008. Only to return to Wales a month later, catch up on the episodes I'd missed and there I see the Sontarans doing their own version of the haka! I now live in New Zealand, and watching this story back reminds me not only of Wales naturally because it was filmed there, but also of being here in Aotearoa for the first time, seeing a traditional haka, then going home and seeing Doctor Who do a spin on it. I love it because it reminds me of home, while also making me feel at home, in a sense. And for that, I'll always love The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky.
I’m nearly half way through rewatching series 1 already because I’m rewatching every single episode to catch up so I can finish on 23rd of October with Power of the Doctor. Yes I’m watching series 11 12 and 13 as well, otherwise I won’t get there.
@@CyberController- so is everything that is political lol. U would not consider Orphan 55 a bad example of a political story being shoved on our faces?
@@timetraveller07 It gets overly-preachy at the end, but I wouldn't say humans destroying the world is political. Political things are up for debate, what's there to debate about humanes destroying the world?
@@Kayjee17 Well kind of, there's rumours of a similar sort of show called Doctor Who Unleashed, which I do hope happens. Confidential never should've been cancelled in the first place tbh!
Can you please do a Next Gen Doctor Who Video Game with the 5th Doctor? Have you the ability to play through the 5th Doctor's episodes (example : Castrovalva, Four To Doomsday, Kinda, The Visitation, Black Orchid, Earthshock ect..) and go anywhere you want in the TARDIS in free roam and like in a Telltale game choose whether Adric dies in Earthshock or not
Love David Tennant mentioning how the sontarans were tall in the two doctors but short in every other story 🤪
I do love the two doctors. But yes, I do prefer The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky.

As a UNIT cosplayer I am very much enjoying being able to see more details in the kits I missed on my own
Great to see Tennant in the outro screen now.
And he looks so happy to be doing it too!
0:23 Oh good none of the UNIT soldiers died in that episode!

The story was political but so fun and full of emotional beats. This is Doctor Who ❤❤
How was the story political? Aside from "war being bad."
@@Quartermistress the impact of cars and gas on air. It was subtle but the message was there.
@@timetraveller07 That's not a political message, that's just....a thing that exists.

why have you been posting random Doctor Who Confidential clips? I find that a bit... odd.
Because they're talking about reviving it for the 60th specials.

Doctor Who used to be the greatest TV show of all time. Now it has been reduced to a steaming pile of feces.
your cringe
This episode and confidential came out 10 years before the show became feces.
