Bullshit. It is about replacing creators. Anyone, not only createors can use AI. It isn't hard for anyone to use a text to video AI to create a video. If someone wants a video, he/shes can do it without a video creator.
I tried it. It is absolutely terrible. They take an istock images and try to make them move, but you end up with about 3 frames looped for 30 seconds, per image. Doesn't look like a video at all. The only good thing is the voiceover, which just repeats what it finds on the internet about the topic you give it.
That's what I thought. I tried it on mobile first and deleted it because it was terrible, and then I find this video and it's showing the same app 🤣 not worth it
It's a lot of work if you are a newbie like me. The people making How-to videos and showing instant results of thousands per month are people who know what they are doing, and well...without the use of AI. I've been learning to edit because there is no such thing as one prompt and post. Also, Invideo AI makes a shitton of crappy videos that I toss. They can't be edited enough to make them good. They are generic and at a 2nd-grade level if you do educational content. So...prepare to work. I just spend three days on a two-minute video...that is three days of eight hours each day. I could hire an editor for $5 but I feel like I need to earn my place and not be mediocre. It will be impossible to be anything other if you are unwilling to study and work!
Yes and lets not forget that even if you do pay the exorbitant amount and get premium you still need a bit of video editing know how and how to use other video editing tools. AI is not going to cut it for everything. Plus watching a person can be more engaging than just listening to a ragged out AI voice behind some damn B roll footage. .
Man, this is amazing. Ngl it feels like AI tools are now so advanced, that if you don't use them to your own advantage you will be left so far behind everyone else. But I think they are really good for content creators (especially if used in combination with a little bit of famester, as it can make your videos go viral immediately). Hey, this might seem like a strange question, but is your shorts channel content related to you or something you’re already doing (like on a regular yt channel)? Or is it more so something you don’t necessarily care about or create yourself to start out with, but put together and put out in order to make money? Reason being that I’ve been considering making shorts in hopes that I could gain a good amount of views in order to make money on youtube. I don’t want to go about it the wrong way. By that I mean, I don’t want to do it in a scummy way, but i also want to make a little bit of money each month from doing so. Loaded question for sure, but figured I’d ask. I’m not looking to make a crazy amount. I’m more thinking along the lines of $300-$500 a month through TH-cam. Any answers or advice would be greatly appreciated

@@smoothpov tbh i've only used descript once after seeing iJustine giving a review about it. from what i remember, it automattically cuts out unwanted clips like the "ums" "likes" and just silences. in terms of AI auto stock images, i dont recall seeing that feature (but this was last year, they might have changed that) but it's more of saving time rough cutting your script/clips/and adding your own voiceover by typing without having to record an actual voiceover from what i rememeber

Great Info! I've used AI on quite a few videos now. I really like it for creating cartoon like Car art and occasionally voices. Text to image type AI's are what I use the most.

I have come across a variety of AI content on TH-cam and I feel a lot of the things I have seen are heartless content in place of generally meaningful things. AI is useful no doubt, but I am concerned about the adaptation of it to video creation industry wide. Thanks for the video Sean!
I think people are having fun experimenting and not necessarily putting thought into it so it may feel soulless but it will make us appreciate real world creators more but I’m sure many talented people will use it in heartfelt, authentic and meaningful ways just like any tool. Horses have more heart and souls than cars but people still love cars and I won’t complain now the driverless and flying cars I drew pictures of as a little girl have now manifested. It will be fascinating to see how things progress. So many new things and people are trying to catch up. My mom had AI on Facebook design a painting study course for her and she was so excited.

i thought it would create all the animations from scratch upon giving it command. however, what it does is basically write a script (which is quite good) based on your command and then find stock footage from multiple platforms (shutterstock, storyblocks etc...) and use clips that are relevant with the voiceover. nothing like creating 'never used or seen' animation from scratch. It's cool but not what I expected.
Great AI tools can be used or are available around the corner, which can be free to use if you need it, for example for captions there's tools such as *phlanx* and their caption generators, for art there's *midjourney* and many more. Marketing and content creation/suggestion has been made much simpler with the advent of AI

The bottom line for fair use is that it is the copyright owner who decides if it is or not as if they challenged you you will have either to waste time and money defending it or remove that content. Transformative use ( which as you know is one of the main criteria for fair use) has to be extremely different from the original and the amount of time sampled is not necessarily an indication of fair use or not.
This aligns with common sense… but I’m guessing many lazy and immoral creators are willing to take the risk in order to make more content faster. To them it’s a numbers game.

AI will be able to create much more beautiful and visually appealing art than any human ever could coupled with the future ability to tailor art creations to an individual’s biases or preferences, if you will, by simply analyzing our brain waves or something to that effect. And if a human artist feels the need to be creative then they can simply create art for themselves.

Yeah, AI editor to just make my raw footage completely edited is all I want.
AI will be able to create much more beautiful and visually appealing art than any human ever could coupled with the future ability to tailor art creations to an individual’s biases or preferences, if you will, by simply analyzing our brain waves or something to that effect.
And if a human artist feels the need to be creative then they can simply create art for themselves.

all the comments look like AI generated for advertising the product, but i used it for project presentation and it did the job. you need to pay for premium to make actual content because it contain watermarks you want to avoid. but for a one time video for presentation it did the job. i am impressed
