I'm trying to figure out what type of message it is, I'm a girl and not that long ago I got a message where someone wanted to face reveal, I'm gonna skip to the end and he just wanted a photo of my _____ and it made me extremely uncomfortable.
One time in school my bff was relly worried for her period and ask for the bathroom and my teacer say “no y can’t” and i tell her “go to the bathroom bestie your mom will understand”tha teacher got so mad that my friend start crayng because the teacher was yelling so loud that urt’s your hart and ear i was so worried that my friend got mad at me that I aslo start cryng.It was terrible the school is a facking prison

What even makes girls not want to go to school is that when we ask for permission to use the bathroom, They tell us that we can't or that we can wait. I am a girl and i can relate to this so much. And it is even worse when you want to change your pad or tampon or you're having cramps but you can't tell the teachers because they are males. So sad and frustrating😭😭😭

One time i went up to a female art teacher who i knew hated me saying “can I go to the bathroom, I am on my period and it’s really bad” She proceeded to answer “No” But the thing is I was not on my period. A group of girls were bulling me IN classroom and the teacher was not doing anything even though they saw it happen. I repeatedly asked “please can I go it’s DESPERATE” and the answer was the same “NO” “NO” “NO!” I’m traumatised from school in every way
I’d just up and leave. Even if you weren’t on your period, her saying no is not okay. Just because she didn’t like you doesn’t mean she gets to deny you a right to use the restroom (especially if she thought you were on your period). I cant handle people like that
I relate to most, I feel really body conscious and it was an own clothes day @ my school. I wore a tee shirt and high waist leggings. All the others in my class were wearing crop tops and jeans, so the next time we had it I wore this top that is a bit cropped and a skirt and knee high boots. This girl (not in my year) came up to me and went "Your too fvcking fat to wear smth cute." It was so hard

My grandmother was in an accounting class. She got 100s on everything. In her final class, the teacher (who was male) said this right to her face in front of the whole class: " I don't give 100s to girls." He made her go up to the front and give an oral presentation completely unprepared when nobody else had to just because she was a girl. It wasn't enough she was top of her class above all of the boys. She had to do something extra because she was a girl. She still got a 100.
Explanation for those who have no idea what’s going on: 1st one: The message probably had some inappropriate pictures…doesn’t need that much explanation ig? 2nd one: When girls are on period, they need to change their pads / tampons regularly, but some teachers (especially male) doesn’t allow. So that is why girls have to go anyway. 3rd one: Girls are especially insecure of their body. These are more likely for teens. This means that they go on a diet, and grab only diet coke even they are hungry. 4th one: Many social media have “perfect body” pics, especially instagram. Girls are pressured by those pics and constantly compares those “perfect body” and thier body.

Ik this is for awareness and I thank u for it but I just kinda wanted to vent and this seems like a safe space…. Then again I could be wrong and I’m about to get a lot of hate but idgaf anymore. As a teen female with a period and being oversized I get bullied a lot not just for my size but because I wear hoodies and all black. I also wear a black face mask because I don’t feel comfortable without it. Over the years of bullying I’ve learned to just hide everything about me and learned some bad habits from my mental health. People tend to get a little to nosy when it comes to my arm as I where a fingerless glove over my right arm, I also tend to get called emo and attention seeking, whore, shit, bitch, weak and things like that. It’s taken a toll on my mental health and I have been diagnosed with almost all forms of anxiety and have also been diagnosed with severe depression. It’s not fun when I’m in the middle of class and my cramps start causing me a lot of pain so I end up leaving the classroom and sitting in the hallway for a long time and I get a lot of weird looks. Another thing about me is that whenever I’m in school or outside when there is a kid a couple years younger then me they tend to look at me with either fear, disgust or terror and move away from me so I just tell people who want to be my friend what it implies and that I’m a child repellent I also have been stabbed in the back and hurt by many people I called friends or best friends so now I tend to keep my distance from people and not trust the people who are my friends. If I’m told to wait to use the bathroom in an emergency, I’m just going to say “I’m going to the bathroom thank you“ and leave. The point of raising your hand to go to the bathroom is to inform the teacher where you are in case of an emergency and not for the teacher to give you permission to use the bathroom which is a human need
The ‘message’ is a crime! I’m so glad I was in police cadets which helped me report my message. They were so glad I came and when I burst out crying they explained to me how my feelings are valid, and not consenting to receiving and seeing them makes it a crime. I was able to report the guy, they talked to him, and put a permanent record under his name. I’m so grateful for this opportunity. But my friends did say I was to extreme and shouldn’t have gone that far, but it doesn’t matter, he can now learn from his mistakes.
I am so happy to go to the school i go to. At the begining of the school year they pulled all the girls aside and taught us that there was only 10 bathroom passes per semester but that they understood period problems so the showed us a hand sign in order to silently tell the teacher that you had to go to like change a pad or smthing and it woudnt remove a resteoom pass. Their reasoning for this is that, "a restroom pass is for if you need to use the bathroom. This is you period pass for when yoy need to deal with your period. You have 1 per class period. (We had 45 minute class periods so it was plenty)" also they accept everyone and if a student is not out to their parents yet they wont contact the parents until the student feels ready to tell them

A friend of mine (he’s my teacher’s son, and my mom and the teacher are friends) has romantic feelings for me. I’m sixteen (junior), and he’s nineteen (college). He’ll ask me what I’m doing on weekends, and I’ll say “homework” and he’ll say “no you’re not, you’re always doing homework.” I told my mom and she said “he’s autistic, he can’t read social cues.” I told her that I’m still not comfortable with it and that even if we were the same age, our personalities wouldn’t match well. She looked at me and said “if he were a supermodel, you’d want to date him.” I’m honestly just hurt that she thinks this has anything to do with looks. He’s just so pushy, and I have a hard time standing up for myself. I don’t know what to do.

My condolences for all of you. It really just sucks how this is a big issue. Now I don’t know if I have some sort of trauma or something but I’m never told any of these things and most of these I’ve brought upon myself, but even then my self confidence is incredible.

She had started her period and my family has very loud and proud periods and she was not wearing anything(female products) so she asked to use the restroom and he said no. But she couldent wait so she jus got up and left. When she came back the teacher yelled at her and called the front office on her. The lady wanted to talk to my so she asked the teacher to hand the phone to my mom. The lady asked what happened. At this point the class was dead silent and my mom being the badass she is, said "well maam i started my period sitting in class and was bleeding through my pants and mr _ said i couldn't go to the bathroom" The lady then asked my mom to had the phone back to the teacher and for her to sit back down. (Keep in mind the class room is rlly quiet) The lady started yelling at the teacher saying that he cant deny anyone the bathroom especially females for no reason (which he did not because my mom was a good student and rarely went to the bathroom in class). So ya theres the story. Love ya❤

I got some of those “messages” when I was around 9 on my computer. They would pop up as notifications out of nowhere. I didn’t cry, unlike most did in the comments section, thankfully. I wasn’t traumatized either. I was rlly disgusted though. I never responded to them, knowing that it would make matters worse, and my innocent brain thought that they might just be scammers and never thought that it might be something…else, but that didn’t exactly stop the notifications. I didn’t know how to block them either, so I just hoped that they would stop. One day my mom saw one of them and I was scared that I was gonna get scolded even though I didn’t even want to get those messages, but thankfully she didn’t get mad at me. Now that I think about it, it sounds messed up that I was expecting to be scolded instead of expecting to be protected from those middle aged people. Then again, those ppl probably didn’t know that I was a kid and just thought that I was older, but there’s a possibility that they were aware and still went with it. I’ll never know, but I don’t think I’d want to.

My grandmother was in an accounting class. She got 100s on everything. In her final class, the teacher (who was male) said this right to her face in front of the whole class: " I don't give 100s to girls." He made her go up to the front and give an oral presentation completely unprepared when nobody else had to just because she was a girl. 1st one: The message probably had some inappropriate pictures…doesn’t need that much explanation ig?
2nd one: When girls are on period, they need to change their pads / tampons regularly, but some teachers (especially male) doesn’t allow. So that is why girls have to go anyway.
3rd one: Girls are especially insecure of their body. These are more likely for teens. This means that they go on a diet, and grab only diet coke even they are hungry.

Ik this is for awareness and I thank u for it but I just kinda wanted to vent and this seems like a safe space…. Then again I could be wrong and I’m about to get a lot of hate but idgaf anymore. As a teen female with a period and being oversized I get bullied a lot not just for my size but because I wear hoodies and all black. I also wear a black face mask because I don’t feel comfortable without it. Over the years of bullying I’ve learned to just hide everything about me and learned some bad habits from my mental health. People tend to get a little to nosy when it comes to my arm as I where a fingerless glove over my right arm, I also tend to get called emo and attention seeking, whore, shit, bitch, weak and things like that. It’s taken a toll on my mental health and I have been diagnosed with almost all forms of anxiety and have also been diagnosed with severe depression. It’s not fun when I’m in the middle of class and my cramps start causing me a lot of pain so I end up leaving the classroom and sitting in the hallway for a long time and I get a lot of weird looks. Another thing about me is that whenever I’m in school or outside when there is a kid a couple years younger then me they tend to look at me with either fear, disgust or terror and move away from me so I just tell people who want to be my friend what it implies and that I’m a child repellent I also have been stabbed in the back and hurt by many people I called friends or best friends so now I tend to keep my distance from people and not trust the people who are my friends. I could go on but eh I don’t rly want to end up with more hate then I’m probably gonna get so I’ll just finish off by saying thank u for reading my vent if u made it this far and I hope u all have a good day/night or try to.

The ‘message’ is a crime! I’m so glad I was in police cadets which helped me report my message. They were so glad I came and when I burst out crying they explained to me how my feelings are valid, and not consenting to receiving and seeing them makes it a crime. I was able to report the guy, they talked to him, and put a permanent record under his name. I’m so grateful for this opportunity. But my friends did say I was to extreme and shouldn’t have gone that far, but it doesn’t matter, he can now learn from his mistakes.
I am so happy to go to the school i go to. At the begining of the school year they pulled all the girls aside and taught us that there was only 10 bathroom passes per semester but that they understood period problems so the showed us a hand sign in order to silently tell the teacher that you had to go to like change a pad or smthing and it woudnt remove a resteoom pass. Their reasoning for this is that, "a restroom pass is for if you need to use the bathroom. This is you period pass for when yoy need to deal with your period. You have 1 per class period. (We had 45 minute class periods so it was plenty)" also they accept everyone and if a student is not out to their parents yet they wont contact the parents until the student feels ready to tell them

So when my mom was in highschool, she had this sexist male teacher and i believe it was history. She had started her period and my family has very loud and proud periods and she was not wearing anything(female products) so she asked to use the restroom and he said no. But she couldent wait so she jus got up and left. When she came back the teacher yelled at her and called the front office on her. The lady wanted to talk to my so she asked the teacher to hand the phone to my mom. The lady asked what happened. At this point the class was dead silent and my mom being the badass she is, said "well maam i started my period sitting in class and was bleeding through my pants and mr _ said i couldn't go to the bathroom" The lady then asked my mom to had the phone back to the teacher and for her to sit back down. (Keep in mind the class room is rlly quiet) The lady started yelling at the teacher saying that he cant deny anyone the bathroom especially females for no reason (which he did not because my mom was a good student and rarely went to the bathroom in class). So ya theres the story.

I remember going to the bathroom at school during lunch break while on my period, but needing to grab a pad from my locker first, and 2 of my guy friends walked over and started talking to me and I just shoved the pad in my pocket immediately.
When i first saw the "photos" or "messages" I was crying and showing my mom and dad I was only 7-8....and my dad and mom had to buy me a new phone

Thanks to my dad I never got those ‘messages’, he always warned me and limited my socials. I used to think it was unfair because my friends didn’t have to but now I realized it’s for my safety, thanks dad ❤

I got some of those “messages” when I was around 9 on my computer. They would pop up as notifications out of nowhere. I didn’t cry, unlike most did in the comments section, thankfully. I wasn’t traumatized either. I was rlly disgusted though. I never responded to them, knowing that it would make matters worse, and my innocent brain thought that they might just be scammers and never thought that it might be something…else, but that didn’t exactly stop the notifications. I didn’t know how to block them either, so I just hoped that they would stop. One day my mom saw one of them and I was scared that I was gonna get scolded even though I didn’t even want to get those messages, but thankfully she didn’t get mad at me.
Now that I think about it, it sounds messed up that I was expecting to be scolded instead of expecting to be protected from those middle aged people. Then again, those ppl probably didn’t know that I was a kid and just thought that I was older, but there’s a possibility that they were aware and still went with it. I’ll never know, but I don’t think I’d want to.
With the first what i got one of those i was only nine and i didn’t want to tell my dad bc i was scared to my mom wasn’t there so i call my best friend and her mom helped me:)
