As in things like they need to act/ look strong, they shouldn’t share their feelings because it makes them look weak, etc.. my uncle said that to my 8 yr old cousin i felt so pissed i tried to educate his mother (who i adore bcs she is the sweetest) hoping she will get her husband to stop as i do not live near them and only came to visit during the vacation i tried educating his older sister (11yrs) and himself on this too that he is allowed to cry and shouldn’t listen to his father idk tho if they listened to me i also tried to get my father to talk to my cousin and his father bcs they would both listen more to an adult man then a teenage girl but he refused to get involved i did once scream at my uncle and that got him to back off on his son at least that once i just worry everything i did hasn’t made any changes to how it is at their house now that i’m not there and back home again

I was a feminist all my life, being a boy.
I always stood up for women, because they are treated like shit. I always acknowledged men were treated like shit, and too have experienced it.
Although I knew that you don't have to hate the entirety of the male species to be a feminist, feminists rarely talking about how men are treated like shit as well, always put this idea in my subconscious thoughts to forget about issues men go through because women go through more (although I know that the problems of a man and a women cannot be compared as they are different).
It gave me so much joy, and so much refreshment, to see a **real** feminist, speaking up for men.
