My first cruise for my 70th birthday was to Alaska in July 2023 with my family. We had so much fun, loved every minute. I never wanted to be on a ship as I feared the whole idea of being in a large boat on the sea. Our cruise director was Neil and what a joy he was. I will always remember the Luminosa as an amazing, fun and exciting ship. Very few sightings of whales, though.
Do you think it would be better if Carnival would rotate which ships came to Australia for the summer instead of sending the same one? I am not saying anything is wrong with Luminosa just may want to try a different ship.
Cruised to Alaska on the Luminosa in 2023 & happy there were no water slides. The spirit class is our favorite size.

I agree also, why does Carnival not rotate their ships some?
That’s actually a very good idea. They should consider that.
