I have 2 kiddos 9 & 6 and are currently enrolled in distance learning. I'm extremely nervous yet excited about diving into homeschool this school year. Definitely new to this world and I'm currently trying to gather as much information and educate myself as much as I can . Any other advice to this very new homeschool Mama is so very welcomed! Thank you so much. I'm trying to decide wether to build my own curriculum or buy one for my 1st and 3rd grader. This will be my 1st year homeschooling in Texas and my husband and I may change our minds but we will probably put them back in public school in 7th grade.
Hi I can do home school if I am parent my son is autism and the school wants to taken out because the behavior is really high they want to send to center treatment center autism I am in austin they want to sending to the residential treatment center both he isn't no verbal so my question is I can give home school my self
As a parent, you have the power to decide what is best for your child’s education and wellbeing. However you see fit for your family moving forward, I would suggest that you get all of his records and documentation from the current school.
Yes, you can. I would do a lot of research on autism and homeschool. There's even videos on here (youtube) about the both of them. Not everything will work the same for every child. Go at your sons pace. Don't compare him to anyone else. Take it day by day.

The great thing is that you can try a little of everything to see what works best for you all! Who knows, you may homeschool until they graduate 🤗
