Lol, I once had a friend who once described spells as "prayers with props" and I've always loved that.
From personal experience I've found that for most situations simplicity is best

I do acrylic paints resulting in abstract art.
My most recent painting was also a spell. Before I put down my flow extender coat of paint , there's a bindrune , sigil , and usually an affirmation of my spell intent. Then I got to slinging and spilling paint like usual.
I have also done beadwork , leather work , wood carving , polymer clay sculptures. Seems like I am always working a spell into an art project of some kind.
I love this! Very special pieces indeed ✨ if I had any talent for art I would love to do it more often - I think it is a wonderful way to work magic
Not so many dramatic words needed….basically in summary: do what you want, with whatever you want…KEY is to think real hard about the outcome you desire as though it has already happened. SIMPLE AS THAT. Doing this for many years with great results.

My spells are messages I send to the spirits and ancestors I work with(the ones I invoke into my space successfully, I ask them to prove their presence by divination and wait for them to all show up) and communicate with them the intention and what I will do if they grant it, something for the betterment of humanity like showing random acts of kindness to people is usually what I say as the thing I will do in exchange. My spells dont work without spirits helping..I dont understand how people think lighting a candle for only yourself and no other spirits works whatsoever.

I have a question, with candle magic you recommend to write what you visualise what happens when your spell is successful. What do you do with these “letters” after your spell has succeeded? Do you burn it? I just wouldn’t like anyone going through my things and reading these papers.
So happy you like it!! If I write visualisations down for a spell, I either keep the papers or journals (because sometimes I like to look back what I had envisioned and how it came true 😄) or I might just throw it away. There is really no right or wrong way to go about things - just do whatever you like. If you don't want anyone to find and read them, throw them out or burn them :)

Hello, I have a bit of a broader question but I thought I'd put it under this video cause it seems kinda fitting: do you have any resources on the origins of certain correspondences? Like why do we use XY herb for this purpose and where does the association of this certain color with xy come from. I find so much information, especially on the internet, but very little goes into the origins of specific witchy beliefs.
I hope all I wrote makes sense. :) Thanks for making the content you make and the way you make it btw. Helped me a lot to hear that there is no right and wrong way as you say so often.

Servus! So fun - I am in Austria too at the moment 😄 correspondences will always depend on cultural background. There is not 'one only and true' correspondence to any herb, color, scent, etc. It all depends on from what context you look at it. A lot of European correspondences for herbs for example are based on the 'sympathetic magic' approach from the medieval ages. Meaning that people (mainly cloistered nuns or monks) studied the shape of color of plants and then assigned them a certain healing power due to their shape (for example, if the leafs where shaped like a heart, they would conclude that that plant was good for heart health, etc.). As for color correspondence, you will find that the eastern and western world are at some points absolutely contradicting each other here - as they take their reasoning from different approaches and belief systems. I think I talked more about this topic in my 'how to be a green witch' video :)

You can find them in any garden center. They are used to put plant shoots in water to help them grow roots. I don't know how the thingy is called in English though haha

How long should I practice and study before I'm able to call myself a witch? It seems trivial but it's something I'm wondering, among many other things, in this new journey of mine.
In my personal opinion, you don't have to wait X amount of time at all and can just call yourself a witch right away if that is what feels right :) it is a personal choice
