Like they never showed me if they had their own spell books or recipe books or even an altar. They just always told me we came from a "special and gifted family" and as I came into my"gifts" that's when my Nana told me more about our family on the women's side. She never said we were witches per say but she said I had "the gift" or "gifts" in my case, like other women in our family. She used call me her little "spiritual antenna" lol. But yeah niether my mother or Nana evwr taught me any kind of spell work or rituals and I don't believe they had any kind od spell books or ritual books or anything. An my Nana passed away when I was 15, and she was the one I confided in about everything especially about how my "gifts" scared me and how I didn't like what I was seeing. But she always made me feel better about it. She always would say "Sweet Pea there is always going to be a little bad with the good, it's what lets us know what good truly is, and yes sometimes what you see is scary but they aren't trying to scare you, they just want an need your help". So when she died I lost faith in EVERYTHING myself the univerae my gifts and anything spiritual. I shut down I drank I did drugs. I spiralled bcuz when she died I felt like I lost apart of myself with her death
I accidentally found a tea shop, he had a entire wall set up full with loose tea in glass containers! It looked totally apothecary-like, all color-coded with scent jars, it took me a while to pick from all the choices I had but I picked a tea that had been smoked over pine wood so it smelled like pine, which has healing and cleansing properties in Native American folklore, so that was my little adventure hahahaa I hope you have a great day!!!

It’s a shop that specializes in the abilities and powers and properties in crystals, only downside is the price! I got five crystals from there, two of which are some of my favorites of all time, was 30$! Maybe that’s normal, I’m just super used to those crystal bins where you fill bags with rocks and it’s like 5$ a bag I’m a pro at packing those bags, my record is 415 rocks in like 8 bags

Honestly, I feel ya! My mom and I were not close at all growing up. I'm an adult, married with my own family now and she is just really starting to be a part of my life. Keep working on those spells, you can do it! Also what kind of petition did you? If it was something like "I'm not loosing things again" It won't work. Try to find what's the cause, for example: "I loose things because sometimes I'm not organized". Therefore your spell shoud be "I'm organized". I hope that helps! Hi love, the evil eye symbol is a really powerful symbol to ancient greeks. It is said that you must always have 10 eyes watching yourself and your back, "Matia Theka" which means eyes 10 in english and is a commonly used saying in Greek. It is also there to ward off evil spirits and all negativity away from you. Usually said to also be worn with a cross as if you are putting energy into the eye (taking acknowledgment of it that you should balance it out with wearing a cross too. This is a very holy trend by many traditional Greeks. @@thiccsloth Hi, since I commented over a year ago my practice has changed and I don't really work with enchanted jewellery currently but I personally think intention is not only one aspect I believe it is a feeling and that could be a combination of as you said protection, confidence etc. The other thing also depends on you. For Me personally, I always have protection in my intention but depending on your situation you might want to highlight it or add it specifically if you don't usually consider it. I have rings that I haven't charged but wanted to and whenever I'm nervous or scared or my PTSD is kinda acting up I twirl them or slide them up and down and I'll also clink them together cause it makes a almost bell sound and really helps calm me. I have a beanie baby that I have had for 21 years. She's grown up with me since the age of five. Her glass eyes are chipped from years of love and play (I call them her cataracts). She wears a beanie I crocheted her and an evil eye "necklace" (it's a bracelet that is necklace sized for her). She's gone to and graduated from college with me, moved out for the first time with me, has been there for literally every step of my life. I plan to use these tips to add some protective oomph to the positive and protective energies she has naturally built up from all this time. She watches over me when I sleep ❤
I'm so glad you mentioned something about broken jewelry. I have a necklace with a tigers eye point where the crystal broke ages ago. I've asked other people and no one could give any type of answer. It never felt the same after it broke so I haven't used it but the thought that it has served it's purpose makes a lot of sense to me and makes me feel better about abandoning it to the depths of my jewelry box.
I just recently got a Native American made necklace that has rose quartz beads and a clear quartz point and I charged it for loving grounding vibes and oh my it's so powerful and I definitely feel so grounded
Great idea for a video! Just a note that most jewelry metals and many crystals (especially silicates) can be damaged by being in salt. If you do use salt to cleanse, use it very quickly and rinse the piece off and dry well. I personally like using sound to cleanse (I use an altar bell). Another idea I liked was having bed of sage for cleansing items that don't like salt, water, and/or the sun.
I know it's not jewelry but I enchanted one of my John Constantine figures to protect my room and boost my energy when I'm asleep and it's been giving me good luck ever since! (As a guy I don't have much if any jewelry at all.)
I got my mom a super cute pair of knit fingerless gloves with a flower motif embroaidered on the top for christmas. I think she will love them. I have always been drawn to this craft since I was a child despite my Christian upbringing; and have had a very deep connection to the earth, specifically trees. I would speak to them and take refuge under them if I had had a bad day at school or felt lost and lonely. Recently as an adult, my interest has been reawakened do to intense feelings of being lost, spiritual disconnection with myself, and recent trauma and grief that has left me emotionally crippled. I miss the safety and reassurance of the trees and am seeking healing, reflection, and specifically self love. I feel that this is something that I have to do even though I know my family will not understand it. Thank you for giving me some guidance to start off my journey in witchcraft.

My magic works when I do this by kinda ‘re-cleansing’ the jewllery, when you are finished with it you just envisage snow, and sorta ‘suck’ the energy out of it until it’s a clean slate, and then draw the energy to you. Great video!

I love wearing aventurine and keeping the stones with me in my bag or holding one when I'm playing slot. It helps when you want to manifest and even win money. I always cleanse my stones with sage and Palo Santo. Very effective.

I help out in second hand stores all the time trust me there is scary things attached 2 jewellery and dolls and mannequins but not so much of anything made out of wood or iron come to think of it any protective material doesn't really have anything attached to it

I wear a a copper wire Spiral talisman that my wife made me everyday. She has charged it for me several times. Today I charged it while watching this video. Turning on my Seichem I held it in my hands and told it to keep me "patient, protected, and positive". I could feel my heart beating into the wire ball and charging it. Normally I have to make a very conscious effort to connect my heartbeat to my energy work, not this time. It pounded until I felt it slowing and grew faint. I unknowingly and unintentionally charged every last one of my necklaces. It was a weak charge for all but one of them, but never the less a charge. I recently got some really strong necklaces from Ren Fair (who'd'a thought, huh?) and thought, "Hm, maybe I should actually try to learn how to do this properly..." And... Well... Now I have a necklace that makes me giggle every time I put it on. Thank you for the awesome tutorial! I just do mine simple and quick with intent and smoke sometimes i either talk or i imagine ny energy pushing the intent and i kinda tell it its purprose and hse water to get energies off its simple and neat

You only need enough that it creates an opaque layer of salt (meaning you can't see the plate under it) and it can just barely fit the piece on it. Just as long as It's only touching salt it's fine (from what I've heard anyway, I'm a newborn witch lmao)

I love the techniques that you give! As a practicing witch for 20+ years, seeing a young woman on a dedicated path that hasn't obviously ben tainted or drawn to this path because of pop culture and has true and realistic expectations of your abilities is wonderful! Out of all these young witches I come across on TH-cam, you are the only one I would ever recommend someone spending their time watching; all the rest that Ive seen are wate of time and quite frankly many are an embarrassment to our way of life and beliefs. Lead the way my dear, lead the way.
Like she said there are many beliefs, With me, it depends on the piece. What I mean is if it was a protection from something specific and it breaks or gets lost it means it absorbed what ever came at you and yes it's done. Unless it's an expensive piece it's not to be touched or picked up again. For example all my kids have charged and blessed crystal bracelets. If they come home and say they lost it or it broke, I make sure they didn't touch it a give them one of the back up ones I have. Sometimes it turns out that some nut almost hit them with the texting and driving, or something happened at school and even though they were close by didn't get affected. I recharge all their good luck back pack dangles (don't know what they are called) once a month. But I do cleanse them even when I make them, so the individual pieces that make the item are clean
Just understand that spirituality really cant be put into rules, theres nothing more annoying than someone who tries to change your spirit, keep doing you and raise above it! :D
Remind them that the craft is a completely personal journey and not everyone is going to do everything. Circle casting is not a necessity because there are other ways to preform the same spell or cleansing ritual. While some things may require circle casting, others do not, or they will have alternative ways of doing the thing you are going to do.
I wear a ring that for me is my witch ring...and I once a month I cleanse, recharge and enchant our wedding rings ALWAYS and any jewlery I take off daily I leave on top of a wide selenite piece to keep charging over night....another great video, thanks

I charmed a bracelet made with lava beads and a lion's head on the Aquarius full moon for courage. I also created a courage oil at the same time that I would use to recharge the bracelet. Recently I lost the bracelet, so I took that to mean that I was no longer in need of the bracelet. I'm wondering if other people have lost charms. I've heard of certain stones and crystals leaving you when you're no longer in need of them, so I'm wondering if that's the same for charms?
A great way to cleanse (something i do a lot) is soap and water! While you physically wash the object you chant "i wash away all negative energy" or even all energy if that's your thing. And visulize it washing away down the drain with the soap and water.
Ahhhhh you wiccans, such lovely spell work indeed! Being druid i prefer to make and cast rather than do premade jewelry castings. It inbeds the spell into the piece and produces better results.

Hi love, the evil eye symbol is a really powerful symbol to ancient greeks. It is said that you must always have 10 eyes watching yourself and your back, "Matia Theka" which means eyes 10 in english and is a commonly used saying in Greek. It is also there to ward off evil spirits and all negativity away from you. Usually said to also be worn with a cross as if you are putting energy into the eye (taking acknowledgment of it that you should balance it out with wearing a cross too. This is a very holy trend by many traditional Greeks. @@thiccsloth Hi, since I commented over a year ago my practice has changed and I don't really work with enchanted jewellery currently but I personally think intention is not only one aspect I believe it is a feeling and that could be a combination of as you said protection, confidence etc. The other thing also depends on you. For Me personally, I always have protection in my intention but depending on your situation you might want to highlight it or add it specifically if you don't usually consider it. My new boyfriend gave me a necklace with a scythe from an anime we love. This is perfect timing because i was wondering how to do this! Off topic, he calls me his little white witch and he encourages it as much as our mutual beliefs. I wish I had met him before my last partner. I have a beanie baby that I have had for 21 years. She's grown up with me since the age of five. Her glass eyes are chipped from years of love and play (I call them her cataracts). She wears a beanie I crocheted her and an evil eye "necklace" (it's a bracelet that is necklace sized for her). She's gone to and graduated from college with me, moved out for the first time with me, has been there for literally every step of my life. I plan to use these tips to add some protective oomph to the positive and protective energies she has naturally built up from all this time. She watches over me when I sleep ❤

I'm so glad you mentioned something about broken jewelry. I have a necklace with a tigers eye point where the crystal broke ages ago. I've asked other people and no one could give any type of answer. It never felt the same after it broke so I haven't used it but the thought that it has served it's purpose makes a lot of sense to me and makes me feel better about abandoning it to the depths of my jewelry box.

Great idea for a video! Just a note that most jewelry metals and many crystals (especially silicates) can be damaged by being in salt. If you do use salt to cleanse, use it very quickly and rinse the piece off and dry well. I personally like using sound to cleanse (I use an altar bell). Another idea I liked was having bed of sage for cleansing items that don't like salt, water, and/or the sun.
I know it's not jewelry but I enchanted one of my John Constantine figures to protect my room and boost my energy when I'm asleep and it's been giving me good luck ever since! (As a guy I don't have much if any jewelry at all.)

Thank you Olivia for your wonderful videos. You are slowly convincing me to give witchcraft a try. I have always been drawn to this craft since I was a child despite my Christian upbringing; and have had a very deep connection to the earth, specifically trees. I would speak to them and take refuge under them if I had had a bad day at school or felt lost and lonely.
Recently as an adult, my interest has been reawakened do to intense feelings of being lost, spiritual disconnection with myself, and recent trauma and grief that has left me emotionally crippled. I miss the safety and reassurance of the trees and am seeking healing, reflection, and specifically self love. I feel that this is something that I have to do even though I know my family will not understand it. Thank you for giving me some guidance to start off my journey in witchcraft.

My magic works when I do this by kinda ‘re-cleansing’ the jewllery, when you are finished with it you just envisage snow, and sorta ‘suck’ the energy out of it until it’s a clean slate, and then draw the energy to you. Great video!

I love wearing aventurine and keeping the stones with me in my bag or holding one when I'm playing slot. It helps when you want to manifest and even win money. I always cleanse my stones with sage and Palo Santo. Very effective.

I help out in second hand stores all the time trust me there is scary things attached 2 jewellery and dolls and mannequins but not so much of anything made out of wood or iron come to think of it any protective material doesn't really have anything attached to it

I wear a a copper wire Spiral talisman that my wife made me everyday. She has charged it for me several times. Today I charged it while watching this video. Turning on my Seichem I held it in my hands and told it to keep me "patient, protected, and positive". I could feel my heart beating into the wire ball and charging it. Normally I have to make a very conscious effort to connect my heartbeat to my energy work, not this time. It pounded until I felt it slowing and grew faint. I could tell it was full so I thanked it and told it to be sealed. Great video, thanks for the reminder:)
My parents just got back from a trip around Australia and they got me some stunning natural pearl earrings that have this really unique shape from the sand rubbing against them while they were forming - this is such perfect timing!

I unknowingly and unintentionally charged every last one of my necklaces. It was a weak charge for all but one of them, but never the less a charge. I recently got some really strong necklaces from Ren Fair (who'd'a thought, huh?) and thought, "Hm, maybe I should actually try to learn how to do this properly..." And... Well... Now I have a necklace that makes me giggle every time I put it on. Thank you for the awesome tutorial! If you wrote a book on this topic I would buy it so I could pull it out any time I needed information.

You only need enough that it creates an opaque layer of salt (meaning you can't see the plate under it) and it can just barely fit the piece on it. Just as long as It's only touching salt it's fine (from what I've heard anyway, I'm a newborn witch lmao)

Like she said there are many beliefs, With me, it depends on the piece. What I mean is if it was a protection from something specific and it breaks or gets lost it means it absorbed what ever came at you and yes it's done. Unless it's an expensive piece it's not to be touched or picked up again.
For example all my kids have charged and blessed crystal bracelets. If they come home and say they lost it or it broke, I make sure they didn't touch it a give them one of the back up ones I have. Sometimes it turns out that some nut almost hit them with the texting and driving, or something happened at school and even though they were close by didn't get affected.
I recharge all their good luck back pack dangles (don't know what they are called) once a month.
But I do cleanse them even when I make them, so the individual pieces that make the item are clean

Remind them that the craft is a completely personal journey and not everyone is going to do everything. Circle casting is not a necessity because there are other ways to preform the same spell or cleansing ritual. While some things may require circle casting, others do not, or they will have alternative ways of doing the thing you are going to do.

I charmed a bracelet made with lava beads and a lion's head on the Aquarius full moon for courage. I also created a courage oil at the same time that I would use to recharge the bracelet. Recently I lost the bracelet, so I took that to mean that I was no longer in need of the bracelet. I'm wondering if other people have lost charms. I've heard of certain stones and crystals leaving you when you're no longer in need of them, so I'm wondering if that's the same for charms?

A great way to cleanse (something i do a lot) is soap and water! While you physically wash the object you chant "i wash away all negative energy" or even all energy if that's your thing. And visulize it washing away down the drain with the soap and water.
Ahhhhh you wiccans, such lovely spell work indeed! Being druid i prefer to make and cast rather than do premade jewelry castings. It inbeds the spell into the piece and produces better results.
