@@sabrina.natalie it certainly was. Words you never want to hear from the cockpit, “we have a bit of an emergency,” were said. Funny back story was this was the first time I’ve flown alone without family. Had a few days off college and decided to visit my brother. Flight was fine and it was about 30 minutes before landing that we were told about the issue. I had a stuffed animal with me that was a gift to my niece but it became my stress ball. I squeezes the stuffing out of that thing! The flight attendants had everyone get in brace position and we landed extremely hard and fast. I had some bruises from the seatbelt but I was fine. We had to remain on the runway and wait for the fire crew to hose down the wheels and plane. It was still at risk of catching flames. In the end we all made it to the terminal. I was never happier to be on the ground in one piece. I called home to let them know we landed. When I told them that we had an emergency landing, they laughed. Clearly they thought I was joking but I about cried. They quickly realized that I was serious. I can’t imagine being on a plane that has an even more serious problem. What I went through was minor in comparison to some of the other stories.
God bless the engineers that built this and the hero pilots that fly these. I am scared f heights and flying. Always get nervous. But glad to know that these things are as resilient as they are.
It’s a fear you likely don’t have when driving to your local grocery store or in an Uber on your way home from a friend’s house. But the truth is, according to statistics from the United States government, flying on a plane on average is overwhelmingly safer than driving a car.
These two brave men have shown that flying an aircraft needs more manual intervention than blind reliance on computer. We have witnessed so many crashes because the computer is throwing wrong data to the monitor. Most of the cases the issue happens with the sensors just below the cockpit. Sometimes we believe in a failsafe system named autopilot but that pushes us to a tragic end. More hours of flying experience and proper understanding on flight dynamics is most important element to fly safe. I wonder how an Idle engine is delivering 70% of power. it's a absolute mess. stall and overspeeding alert cannot go on same time.
The Malaysian crash happened because plane sensors froze. I'm supposed to feel comfortable flying knowledgeable of the fact that a broken sensor can cause a crash.
Previous pilot comment on restoring flight engineers: Aviation should never allowed corporate bottom-line streamlining of common sense applied knowledge- which has also been Boeing's fatal flaw.
Passengers on board were calm and cool, but after a while their was an alarming indicated in the computer system something went wrong with the engine. The 1st captain was showing horror on his face. Therefore they needed for an emergency landing. Finally the airbus came to a hault. After a big thunder the flight came to a safe landing, the captain showed himself with a smile on his face. He is a Hero! Thanks God!
Do they go through training to stay calm under absolute pressure?? Cuz it's beyond amazing how they handle everything so calmly until the very last moment, I would literally pee my pants or get a heart attack.

I love how the pilots, didn't panic at first. I would trust these pilots.
Boeing cockpit warning sounds on an Airbus....riiiggghhhttt
James McInnis I'm not sure if you know this but Boeing makes Airbus it is called the Boeing Airbus A380
Youexterminated wut
@@youexterminated787 lmao what??
Hahahahahaa hahhahahaha hahahaha lmao
Thought I was the only one that caught that lol
But then engine number 1 stalls and with more vibrations...
The voice in that was perfect
God bless the engineers that built this and the hero pilots that fly these. I am scared f heights and flying. Always get nervous. But glad to know that these things are as resilient as they are.
Every time me and family go on holiday we actually use this airline and it’s sooo good. So didn’t expect this would happen
I must say one thing that the pilots didn't panic and worked calmly
It’s always nice to see a plane land safely on this show.
Wow! That was amazing! He looked so FOCUSED instead of “OH MY GOODNESS WERE GONNA DIE!!!! AHHHHHHH”
:P
He's a pilot he isn't supposed to panic unless its obvious that there is no way to keep everyone safe

In case you were wondering what the fault was, It was fuel contamination
Salute to the pilots who saves the life of passengers any how💪👍
That's sometimes computerization is too unreliable. We need our own abilities, good job, Captain
My father was in that flight in the past. He said it was so scary.
😮
Honestly, no offense, but
You need to get proof
Every second in aviation matters, appreciate u guys for your calm
my mom and dad were in this flight thanks. you and bless u pilots
I want this Guy To Fly our flight to Be Safe
Fly*
Thats exactly why i respect pilots!!🙏
Your vidoes are amazing keep up the good work
These are the smartest pilots ever👍
@Peter Evans Damn,Didn't understand, but sounds interesting!
@Peter Evans Aaaa ok
This is one of the coldest emergency landings ever,Salute to the pilots who saved peoples lives
"...and they lived happily ever after. The End!"
Imagine the kai tak airport is still open and they going to land there
Nice
*LETS GO FOR A SWIM BOYS*
If only this channel included all the incidents causes and conclusions 💔
Really. It was kind of a Cliff's Notes version of what happened.
Thanks God!
I'm proud of those pilots, they did their best to bring the passengers to land safely.
Me after watching too many movies:
"We have to land on the Victoria Harbour."
Finally, pilots who landed rather safely this time. And now I wonder how many close call flights and landings I've been to. 😬
this channel is a never ending rabbit hole

Do they go through training to stay calm under absolute pressure?? Cuz it's beyond amazing how they handle everything so calmly until the very last moment, I would literally pee my pants or get a heart attack.
Yes mam....they lll not let u sit in an aeroplane..until u train 1000 times...
All the scenarios.....like 2 secs before take off...enginr failure.
Engine fire...in a simulator......they ll blow u with winds...they ll never let u sit on an aeroplane with 100 lives at stake just like that...
"they've used up more than 8'800 ft over a mile and a half of runway" - clear enough! especially when you use metric system.
next episode: celsius degrees compared to fahrenheit treshhold.
This are the best A330 pilots i have ever seen!!!, truly miraculous landing, Captain Waters is a true hero ❤
The landing gear wouldn’t have withstood all that pressure and speed! Wow!
hearing all those beeping warning signals will truly scare me
I am confused that wouldn't the plane start hovering mid air if one engine is at 74% power and other is at much less capacity.
No, why would it hover
This is a great video to watch when I’m going to Texas tomorrow for spring break
