    Found this older video from you guys. Man, I’m loving the rinseless wash method! I was against it at first but after watching y’all I give it a chance, Man…IM SOLD! Had to come back and order a gallon and now I’m about to show my dad how to do it and get him out the Fla sun and an easier way to detail. He taught me when I was younger and now I’m returning the favor thanks to DIY Detail! Thanks fellas 👊👊

    Hello from Chicago! Informative video.. Excellent idea using three gallons of distilled water in a bucket. I'll try it. If it works well, I'll use instead of installing deionize water system. I have a 2013 Subaru Outback with 268,0000 miles. It has the same color paint (charcoal gray). Once again, nice video. you have another subscriber.

    Oldie but goodie. I somehow missed watching this video. Boy I sure hope 30% off comes back for this black Friday! I have my eyes set on a gallon of Rinseless, some Ceramic Gloss and some All Clean. Oh and I really hope the Legacy Sponge is in stock because I'm about due for a new sponge.

    Looks great! Is there a water softener in your rinseless wash?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes the DIY Rinseless Wash does act as a water softener. Thanks for asking.

    • @bradydobson5970
      @bradydobson5970 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most rinsless washes should act as a water softener. Watch pan the organizers video on rinsless washes. I believe he has a video dedicated to the diydetail rinsless as well

    Thanks. This means that even when using "rinseless wash" hard water in the Sun will create water spots on the car.
    The only way (perhaps) to get rid of water spots would be to use (1) water filters, (2) buy gallons of distilled water, or something else to avoid the issue, right?

      Dry the car before the water dries on it

    Why do I need a drying aid if the rinseless wash has polymers within the solution that provide lubrication & protection?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      You don’t, but if someone wants extra pop, gloss and protection, Ceramic Gloss works great.

      You don't need a drying aid and you know that. The Ceramic Gloss provides additional gloss and protection, all during the drying step.

    • @diydetailofficial

      The Legacy Sponge is designed for Rinseless Wash, but you can absolutely use a wash mitt or nice towel!

  • @cesarnunez8765
    @cesarnunez8765 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey I just have a question why are you working one panel at the time if destilled water don’t left water spot behind? Or it could left water spot?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No matter what I’m using, even if it’s distilled water, the sun always has the potential to win. Just the heat involved on the panel scares me, so I try to be in small sections no matter what I’m doing in the sun. Hope that makes sense.

      It encapsulates it completely, but a contact wash is required to remove all the dirt from the surface.
