This is A masterclass 1 star recuiting not using 4-5 star school telling people its the same its not... you have to be really smart with timing with recuiting and lil details how u can tell if in the end he is not choosing ur school...pay attention to dealbreakers,no offers,interested stages to tell if u go full house or not never go full house on 3 stars who alrealdy interested, get straegist as soon as possible, and most important play the games and win, beating rivalry teams and winning record with conference championship

22:05 when you're picking a hard sell, there is ALWAYS a perfect pitch. use deductive reasoning to figure it out when you only have 2/3 checks. when you know 2/3 checks at worst there will be 2 maybe 3 options that incorporate both of those checks. Then use the red checks to eliminate options. Also, his deal breaker is always a green check. So, using that knowledge, you should be able to deduce the perfect pitch if you have 2/3. In this case you just settled for the incorrect pitch.
I thought I understood recruiting pretty well. Had a few Top 3 classes. Had no idea about the insta-commit possibility. I thought the insta's that I had gotten were just ppl that really wanted to play for me lol. That tip alone is worth a like and sub. Cheers.

Sway is NOT dogshit. You can sway a player to like another interest that they didn't before that aligns with what your program is good at. Therefore you can hard sell AND soft sell to maximize interest.
As a one star school the only good grades you’re likely to have in year one is early playing time and proximity to home. Very loose on the “good grades”
Sway is 100% valuable but when you’re a 1 star with few recruiting hours, less good grades in categories you don’t have as much time to try and sway and then hard and soft sell. You gotta get recruits as fast as possible to recoup your recruitment hours to start getting more prospects. My first dynasty with 2 star Boise state started with 600 hours and I was trying to land anything I could, spreading hours around and I think I manually recruited 10 prospects if that, ranking like 98th in recruiting class. Now that I’m focused on 10 people at the most who could really change the program I have higher success. Then repeat until the end of the season.

in a video I was watching. theres a perfect combo on hard/soft sell every player. So if you have 2 checks you can almost guarantee you hard sell early for all 3 without having the 3rd check
I love what you shared and think it’s a great way to get the 5-4 stars players you need to grow your team. But, I also feel that your system was great before the two title updates. I would love to see you do a current updated version of your system to prove that it still works. Just my two cents.
If you see a player commit to another school, look at their dealbreaker before you take them off your board. For example, say you’re going after two 4 star QBs and the same school steals them both from you. Let’s also say that the biggest deal breaker for one of those QBs is Playing Time. Well, that school he committed to also getting another 4 star QB creates a conflict with the first QBs Playing Time deal breaker, and it won’t be uncommon for them to decommit

Thanks for the videos! Just got 2 back to back top classes with 3.5 star duke! In total about 25 5 stars and 30 4 stars. (Granted this is after 4 or 5 seasons)
after the week of the hard sell/ soft sell do you always remove it and replace it with hard sell or something? Or have you tried leaving it on to see how they react to the 40 points

Love the videos! Have helped me a lot. I am in a 4 person dynasty and had the best recruiting class. I will say this strategy is a little tougher than the first video with multiple users but both are still great options
Hello! Been doing my best to copy your methods, however, I had 4 players visiting, none committed when I destroyed the other team. (This was with only complimentary visits and no competitive ones.) They are all really slow to give me visits and stuff too. I am 1st on a lot of their boards but none will commit. Anything I am doing wrong?

because you are scouting right off the bat in preseason recruiting when the only other thing you can do it offer a scholarship. Don't scout once the season starts
Y’all aren’t understanding what he’s saying. Why even scout them at all when at worst they will be 4 star. I don’t scout 5 stars and I sometimes dont even scout 4 stars if my team is bad enough at that position

@@jacobporter419 there’s 3500 prospects every year. Why are you tryna see how good someone is when you know at worst they will still be good. Just scout someone else. And I scout during the season all the time and haven’t had any issues getting a top 10 class with a 1 star. This is the same as ncaa 14 recruiting but just a lil more customizable. Sort by 0 offers after like week 2-3 and then scout all the 3 star and below guys. Max offer all the gems and you’ll have a bunch of studs.
I love the video’s but the one thing I question is not going full recruiting on your tree? If I only build of year one and not my future I may have all that’s needed. I must say I don’t struggle in recruiting but a lot of TH-camr’s show pick and choose vs over powering the tree and building up tier one of talent developer and tier one of strategist
14:04 Instant committing!?! NOBODY is talking about this yet, is there a set limit to how many prospects can instant commit or is it just all up to chance? Can this happen in any week with any prospect if you're #1 on their chart without an offer? Also I randomly came across a one-time niche that reveals two of a players interests when you add them to your board alone with nothing else, it doesn't seem too useful but if you didn't go with the recruiter archetype out of the gate you could maybe use it to gaurantee a hard sell on a must-have prospect once he reaches his top 5
I just had a class last night with Buffalo that had 34 4 and 3 star recruits. I didn’t get any 5’s, because I had access to none. It was funny being able to just steal all these players. I developed pretty much the same strategy as you without realizing it. I had watched another recruiting video form another guy and it had so much bad info lol
Just an FYI, you CAN still abuse the instacommit on CF25. You just need to create a hard save before you make scholarship offers to a player you want and if they don't commit then you reload that save. It doesn't take more than 30 seconds to do it each time and you can hard save after they commit and then do the next player. As long as you are number one on their board at that time then I CAN be done. Also you need some good RNG but they WILL commit, don't stop until they do. I hope this helps everyone land those top 5 classes in year one and two. They are hard to get otherwise with a rebuilding school who has no stars.

You can do the hard/soft sells again after pulling them off. Just leave recruiting and go back in and it will come back available. As someone who is in year 10+ with no top 5 classes it’s a lot of luck. I even upgraded my coach for the insta commit and it’s just random and can be very low odds.
@@Giantsfan7273 you are just number 1 interest and offer them a scholarship and there’s a chance they commit on the spot. You can do it whenever but there is a thing called “dream school” on CEO that you can purchase after I think you win 2 nattys. You don’t have to start as number 1 on their list just be number 1 when you offers. But honestly the purchase thing is meh. I haven’t tracked it but it can’t be more than 10%. So maybe 2 or 3 insta commits a year. Saves some hours but in the long run meh.
I still have no idea how he pulled this off. Watched the full video, but after week 0, 20 of my 25 targeted players locked me out. And no new 4 stars are available. So im not sure if i should start looking at 3 stars or if im screwed already lol

Help! Been trying to do this same thing, but I have been getting 0 auto commits (despite being 1st on their board.), and I get 0 commits off visits despite having completing visits and stuff!
@@martinjoshua313 you don’t offer a scholarship right away. Wait until you are in first in interest and over half way. Then offer scholarship. I would have to rewatch to see if the prospects can’t have any other scholarship offers for it to work.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.. I can get a couple 5 stars and like 3/4 4 stars. But then I just lose out on a bunch of others and then I have a 10 man recruiting class.Year 3 and I only had 54 guys going into the year cuz I had two straight classes with a couple elite guys but nothing to fill out the roster.

do you need to keep players who have verbally committed elsewhere on your board for the chance to have them sign with you? or can you remove them and they'd still sign? I don't want to waste space on my board if I don't have to.. also what's the chance that they actually go back to you after verbally committing somewhere else?
when you offer someone a scholarship and then they don't insta commit, can't you just remove them from the board, which will take away their scholarship and then put them back to the board again and offer the scholarship again?
@@HeyGreenieit won't work if you don't put in any hours.... but if you don't have the hrs and it's getting deeper into the season you can offer a scholarship and it'll start to gain influence
Somehow as the OC at North Carolina we were barely signing anyone and the ppl who we did usually weren’t very good. I’m talking like 5 recruits one year.
So I scouted all my 5 stars and a 4 star. I ran completely out of points. When I started the season many of the recruits and already offered. Should I had fully scouted them or just started scouting? Thanks

Genuine question here cuz I’ve used a completely diff strat so far - why are you spending so many points scouting 5stars early on? Those are either players you have an extremely low chance of signing or even the worst 5 stars will be no worse than the majority of the 3 stars in a class. I allocate those points to scouting the 3 stars with starting interest - trying to find a few gems that are quick to recruit and free up points later on. I’d love to hear how others feel
@@JackNadeau definitely agree, as a 1 star school, I’ve found there is little point at all in ever scouting the 5 star, even 4 star players. I save it for 3 and 2 stars down the road to find gems to fill out my recruiting class.

I have been removing hard sell after sim after 1 week. I then revert back to the house and contact family so 75. Should I be leaving hard sell on once you get to that stage?

I tried to do your visit method, but all of my games for the season were only 1 influence. I would just change the schedule, but it’s in an online dynasty. Do you have any recommendations?
You can be a menu merchant and cheese this, have 2 saves, when you're the #1 Interest on a player, offer him the scholly, if he insta-commit, great. If not, just reload the previous save, until he insta-commit. Rinse and repeat.
Have anybody ever experienced where you have multiple players about to commit any week. It is close to the finish line halfway through the season. And then next week when you fast forward, your progress has been pushed back to halfway on all of them??

I only do that to schedule visits. I have 350 hours a week. I can't give them all 40 hours and give them 40 hours for a visit at the same time. The visit is important because they could insta commit after if it's a good visit. That is why I pull it off and give it back the very next week.

i followed this video, and i had 500 hours and i only have 11 guys left on my board bc so many ppl commit elswhere and no one good i can put on my board. and its my bowl game week. i was first for a lot of them and then when i am in their top 5, a random school, maybe multiple, offer him and even when i put as much as i possibly can in him, they easily pass me and get the kid. happened to most of the guys. did the thing abt waiting for scholarships too until u r their #1 interest, wtf am i doin wrong
You just got to pick the right recruits to put time into. I did this method and picked up 15 4 stars and 6 3 stars with UL Monroe first season on heisman with 11 losses. You pretty much just need to make sure you aren’t putting so many points into guys you aren’t gonna get. Also for a tip, use the first week where u can only scout, to scout a ton of 3 stars that aren’t rlly being recruited. That’s what I do and it usually gives me between 3-5 gems. super pro tip is to only scout 3 star athletes. when you switch around a gems position or an athletes position at the end of the year sometimes their ratings can give them a platinum ability as a freshman. i had a 3 star Lb w 89 speed and i moved him to ss, and he has platinum wrap up, gold hammer, and gold house call or layout i don’t remember, AND he didn’t have a single ability as a LB
Hey guys! I set up my depth chart by the squad depth I thought was best, primarily by highest overalls per position. However when I play games, some players are starting or getting a lot of playing time that are not top in their position in the depth chart. For example, there is a freshman LE that plays nearly every snap in game at DT, however, when I look at the depth chart that player is not even in my top 10 at DT position. No matter what I am doing there are players playing and players not playing, that do not reflect my custom depth chart. how may this be fixed Both. And the depth chart and changes I make to it in the hub screen, before games, is accurately reflected to my in game depth chart, however, it does not translate to the actual game time and rotation that happens Basically it says my depth is what I've set it at, but it chooses different players to play I different positions that I have not assigned. Like, I have freshman LE that consistently is getting reps at DT over a 88 overall DT??? In my depth chart, in the hub and in game, the LE is wayyyy down on the roster yet still gets his reps over the better plays out of position
Can confirm! Tried to redo the same players and got a commit! Just save a separate save before offering a contract and try that a few times if you want lol

When it comes to a 1-Star program it isn't what you want to rely on.

I have been crossing my fingers to get this 5 star with Wyoming. I’m in week 8 and he won’t commit it’s like a little sliver away from being full
For the record, “Sway” is very valuable. It can make a recruit get a 4th or even 5th interest allowing you to Hard and Soft sell within the same week.
It isn't in this situation.

when you sort for no offers, you can also sort the first column (targeted/green dot/dealbreaker) column and see possible targets better

Why waste scouting points early on scouting 5 stars when you know at worst they’ll be a bust and still a 4 star

@tuckermusic4719 You're missing the point as well, if you aren't going to offer scholarships to prospects in the offseason you have NOTHING to spend your hours on, so you might as well scout the top guys you're interested in

@@jacobporter419 there’s 3500 prospects every year. Why are you tryna see how good someone is when you know at worst they will still be good. Just scout someone else. And I scout during the season all the time and haven’t had any issues getting a top 10 class with a 1 star. This is the same as ncaa 14 recruiting but just a lil more customizable. Sort by 0 offers after like week 2-3 and then scout all the 3 star and below guys. Max offer all the gems and you’ll have a bunch of studs.
I love the video’s but the one thing I question is not going full recruiting on your tree? If I only build of year one and not my future I may have all that’s needed. I must say I don’t struggle in recruiting but a lot of TH-camr’s show pick and choose vs over powering the tree and building up tier one of talent developer and tier one of strategist
14:04 Instant committing!?! NOBODY is talking about this yet, is there a set limit to how many prospects can instant commit or is it just all up to chance? Can this happen in any week with any prospect if you're #1 on their chart without an offer?
Also I randomly came across a one-time niche that reveals two of a players interests when you add them to your board alone with nothing else, it doesn't seem too useful but if you didn't go with the recruiter archetype out of the gate you could maybe use it to gaurantee a hard sell on a must-have prospect once he reaches his top 5

I just had a class last night with Buffalo that had 34 4 and 3 star recruits. I didn’t get any 5’s, because I had access to none. It was funny being able to just steal all these players. I developed pretty much the same strategy as you without realizing it. I had watched another recruiting video form another guy and it had so much bad info lol
What was your class rank?
@@ManFinest it was rank 19 or 20, I assume because I couldn’t get any 5 star prospect. At one point it was showing as high as 17

Just an FYI, you CAN still abuse the instacommit on CF25. You just need to create a hard save before you make scholarship offers to a player you want and if they don't commit then you reload that save. It doesn't take more than 30 seconds to do it each time and you can hard save after they commit and then do the next player. As long as you are number one on their board at that time then I CAN be done.
Also you need some good RNG but they WILL commit, don't stop until they do. I hope this helps everyone land those top 5 classes in year one and two. They are hard to get otherwise with a rebuilding school who has no stars.
Just create the players, alter the attributes etc at that point lol

You can do the hard/soft sells again after pulling them off. Just leave recruiting and go back in and it will come back available.
As someone who is in year 10+ with no top 5 classes it’s a lot of luck. I even upgraded my coach for the insta commit and it’s just random and can be very low odds.

@@Giantsfan7273 you are just number 1 interest and offer them a scholarship and there’s a chance they commit on the spot. You can do it whenever but there is a thing called “dream school” on CEO that you can purchase after I think you win 2 nattys. You don’t have to start as number 1 on their list just be number 1 when you offers. But honestly the purchase thing is meh. I haven’t tracked it but it can’t be more than 10%. So maybe 2 or 3 insta commits a year. Saves some hours but in the long run meh.
I still have no idea how he pulled this off. Watched the full video, but after week 0, 20 of my 25 targeted players locked me out. And no new 4 stars are available. So im not sure if i should start looking at 3 stars or if im screwed already lol
I recommend starting with 3* prospects, getting gems out of them is very valuable and they are readily available

Help! Been trying to do this same thing, but I have been getting 0 auto commits (despite being 1st on their board.), and I get 0 commits off visits despite having completing visits and stuff!
I have noticed later in the seasons teams can have scholarships on the player as soon as I give interest a few schools drop out the race

@@martinjoshua313 you don’t offer a scholarship right away. Wait until you are in first in interest and over half way. Then offer scholarship. I would have to rewatch to see if the prospects can’t have any other scholarship offers for it to work.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.. I can get a couple 5 stars and like 3/4 4 stars. But then I just lose out on a bunch of others and then I have a 10 man recruiting class.Year 3 and I only had 54 guys going into the year cuz I had two straight classes with a couple elite guys but nothing to fill out the roster.
Hard sell improves the interest over time. Make sure the interest aligns with your program
I personally love sway! Only when you have 60 hours on a player
Hard + soft sell > hard + friends & famliy

It can be useful. However, using sway in this situation wouldn't work well.
Sway is helpful, but is really difficult to use when you’re a 1 star program lol

Yo hopefully you answer this, but when it comes to the recruiting mechanics such as soft sell and send the house, do you recommend those over say the 40 hours which in theory gives you more influence for cheaper, as well as two soft sells for 40 rather than one hard sell for 40? Great video btw!

do u need to have a certain amount of influence to trigger an insta commit? or do u just need to be #1 school to have a chance?
do you need to keep players who have verbally committed elsewhere on your board for the chance to have them sign with you? or can you remove them and they'd still sign? I don't want to waste space on my board if I don't have to.. also what's the chance that they actually go back to you after verbally committing somewhere else?

when you offer someone a scholarship and then they don't insta commit, can't you just remove them from the board, which will take away their scholarship and then put them back to the board again and offer the scholarship again?

If you have them on your board, you offered them a scholarship and there's been no movement.... you'll move up

Somehow as the OC at North Carolina we were barely signing anyone and the ppl who we did usually weren’t very good. I’m talking like 5 recruits one year.
So I scouted all my 5 stars and a 4 star. I ran completely out of points. When I started the season many of the recruits and already offered. Should I had fully scouted them or just started scouting? Thanks

Genuine question here cuz I’ve used a completely diff strat so far - why are you spending so many points scouting 5stars early on? Those are either players you have an extremely low chance of signing or even the worst 5 stars will be no worse than the majority of the 3 stars in a class.
I allocate those points to scouting the 3 stars with starting interest - trying to find a few gems that are quick to recruit and free up points later on. I’d love to hear how others feel
@@JackNadeau definitely agree, as a 1 star school, I’ve found there is little point at all in ever scouting the 5 star, even 4 star players. I save it for 3 and 2 stars down the road to find gems to fill out my recruiting class.

You gotta be accurate from the jump (pre season) and if you cant get them ...set yourself a 2 week time period on certain prospects...get rid of em if they cant make it and then utilize hours to fill needs...also check pipelines and low interest players and SEND THE HOUSE 😂

I tried to do your visit method, but all of my games for the season were only 1 influence. I would just change the schedule, but it’s in an online dynasty. Do you have any recommendations?

You can be a menu merchant and cheese this, have 2 saves, when you're the #1 Interest on a player, offer him the scholly, if he insta-commit, great. If not, just reload the previous save, until he insta-commit. Rinse and repeat.
Sway is good to get more check marks and be able to actually use hard and soft sells

Have anybody ever experienced where you have multiple players about to commit any week. It is close to the finish line halfway through the season. And then next week when you fast forward, your progress has been pushed back to halfway on all of them??

I only do that to schedule visits. I have 350 hours a week. I can't give them all 40 hours and give them 40 hours for a visit at the same time.
The visit is important because they could insta commit after if it's a good visit. That is why I pull it off and give it back the very next week.

Ran through a couple sims and got *0* instant commits, not sure what I’m doing wrong or if he just got lucky
i followed this video, and i had 500 hours and i only have 11 guys left on my board bc so many ppl commit elswhere and no one good i can put on my board. and its my bowl game week. i was first for a lot of them and then when i am in their top 5, a random school, maybe multiple, offer him and even when i put as much as i possibly can in him, they easily pass me and get the kid. happened to most of the guys. did the thing abt waiting for scholarships too until u r their #1 interest, wtf am i doin wrong
You just got to pick the right recruits to put time into. I did this method and picked up 15 4 stars and 6 3 stars with UL Monroe first season on heisman with 11 losses. You pretty much just need to make sure you aren’t putting so many points into guys you aren’t gonna get. Also for a tip, use the first week where u can only scout, to scout a ton of 3 stars that aren’t rlly being recruited. That’s what I do and it usually gives me between 3-5 gems. super pro tip is to only scout 3 star athletes. when you switch around a gems position or an athletes position at the end of the year sometimes their ratings can give them a platinum ability as a freshman. i had a 3 star Lb w 89 speed and i moved him to ss, and he has platinum wrap up, gold hammer, and gold house call or layout i don’t remember, AND he didn’t have a single ability as a LB

Hey guys! I set up my depth chart by the squad depth I thought was best, primarily by highest overalls per position. However when I play games, some players are starting or getting a lot of playing time that are not top in their position in the depth chart. For example, there is a freshman LE that plays nearly every snap in game at DT, however, when I look at the depth chart that player is not even in my top 10 at DT position. No matter what I am doing there are players playing and players not playing, that do not reflect my custom depth chart. how may this be fixed
Both. And the depth chart and changes I make to it in the hub screen, before games, is accurately reflected to my in game depth chart, however, it does not translate to the actual game time and rotation that happens
Basically it says my depth is what I've set it at, but it chooses different players to play I different positions that I have not assigned. Like, I have freshman LE that consistently is getting reps at DT over a 88 overall DT??? In my depth chart, in the hub and in game, the LE is wayyyy down on the roster yet still gets his reps over the better plays out of position

How is instant commits programmed? Like can i save a save before offering a contract and i get a different resukt maybe each time for each player?
Can confirm! Tried to redo the same players and got a commit! Just save a separate save before offering a contract and try that a few times if you want lol
