Hon. Ssegona I concur with what you are saying. The Government has put down all the social services including the agricultural services that ere in place during the 60s,70s and part of the 80s but even the infrastructure is so horrible.
The only problem we have is poor governance.

Time has come for Buganda and other regions to start their own companies for their farm produce. Buganda will be better off operating its own Coffee producing , processing and marketing Industry .. something similar to the Coffee Marketing Board that Museveni destroyed . The West should have its own Tea Management Authority .

The moderator has not done enough research. A number of falsehoods here.
1. Every subcounty and Town council has at least two extension workers...crop and veterinary.
2. Government facilitates extension through a grant called AEG. By this grant government procures motorcycles for extension workers.
3. NAADS has no workers at the districts
4. Uganda has more agriculture research than any other East African country. So don't say we don't have seed... Longe varieties of maize are from Namulonge
5. I can go on and on
