Brilliant Paul, well done for emphasising the importance of independently moving the fingers. I had made the mistake before watching your video of simply exploding the fingers together. You have encouraged me to start again working in the order you illustrated.
Paul the pieces of music you played were beautiful. This was a relatively easy strum to demonstrate, but as you note I can see it taking quite some time to master. I'll get started straight away! Thank you for the demonstration. I got uke babe. I'm a recent subscriber from the US. Love the channel.
Great lesson - thank you! I hope we’ll see more of these. Also, I wanted to let Paul know that I’m taking a Uke class on Udemy and the instructor said barre chords are pronounced bar or bar-rey! 😎
Thanks Paul - I love “fancy” flourishes to things, and I can now see how it’s done (which is sadly a long way from actually being able to do it, but, hey, that’s what practice is for!)
You are not just flicking your 4 fingers, you're doing a strum pattern with it, wish you would explain what you're doing exactly, Could you do a tutorial on a whole song that used rasgeado and the finger picking
@@AnarchyInTheUkuleleTV that would be awesome! It's hard to find detailed tutorials on flamenco explaining everything in detail, everyone seems to emphasize one the four finger strum, and not on everything else , chords, fingerpicking, and strum pattern
Clear tutorial at a lovely pace, Paul. Thanks so much!
cheers buddy
