I'm delighted to see something that's a bit difference for once. There are floods of copycat ukulele books on the likes of Amazon promising the earth, but delivering the same basic formula using a handful of public domain tunes. Years ago I saw Manitoba Hal using a loop pedal for his blues performances and it was fabulous.

Brilliant Paul, well done for emphasising the importance of independently moving the fingers. I had made the mistake before watching your video of simply exploding the fingers together. You have encouraged me to start again working in the order you illustrated.

After putting DAddirrIo EJ50 strings , tunes e turning like a classical guitar ,the best way to keep playing like EADGBE tuning ,great sound !

How does the pick compare to the Fred Kelly Bumblee Picks? Can the pick be moved around so they are at more of an angle? That's what I like about the Bumblebees.

I have both editions; low G and baritone. Love the pieces but there is one thing that makes it even more special. Some pieces require slight changes in tuning, which makes me experiment. Paul, you should keep the Flight Maia, baritone suits you. I will meet Sammy again in September at the Dutch Uke Day and looking forward to it.

Thanks for the review! I had never heard a baritone ukulele before. Hearing you play Lagrima makes me think it doesn't have much of an individual identity. It really does sound like a guitar without the deeper bass notes. Not much to offer for fingerstyle for me. The strumming sounds amazing though. It's a great way to get the vibe of a guitar with the ease of a ukulele for playing some simple chords. Makes me a little tempted.
