Regularly including the OS map references such a useful thing - wish the many other climbing channels I follow did. Ok what struck me was idea of me having to struggle with 16 17kg pack and through all of that deep heather, course and peat hags. Some how you managed to pull through in positive spirits and for me that is the essential quality to hill walking climbing. I Dont like to go over 14kg. Thanks fir posting and LNT.

Aye I probably take too much stuff with me to be honest! What I should do really is buy a smaller capacity pack to force myself to shave a few KG off. Will be trying that this spring/summer for sure. Will keep including OS grid refs where appropriate, I find them very useful as well 👍🏻

Good vid buddy, you showed the character of the terrain so well and achieved Ggood sound balance between the wind blowing thtough the heather and trees, and your commentary, while thankfully not allowing that music noise to disrupt, distract or detract from your spoken word, I would have liked it even more had it been entirely absent. The wind accompanying the images of scudding cloud and changing light was perfection itself and needed no added noise, absence of which would have conveyed even more clearly, what it was like to be out in the exposed uplands that blustery day. Thanks for posting; I'm looking forward to watching more from you, best regards, Art.

Hello Arthur. That's a very comprehensive reply! Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and I really do appreciate your feedback, especially re the music. I get where you're coming from - natural sounds are best for sure but I feel that sometimes it's just a bit dull or monotonous (maybe my edits are too long) and also for example there's no sound on drone footage so have no choice there but to fill that empty audio space. I do like a bit of music too so there's that as well. Thanks again! J

I noticed that you appeared to have incorporated two new tie downs at rear of your tent which probably helps extend the fly away from your inner tent body, does this also expand the inner volume of the bobcat? 10:53

Hello Donald. Yes I modified the Bobcat to pull the back sides of the fly away from the inner which has improved the performance of the tent a good bit. There’s a video of the modification I did here th-cam.com/video/q-v5io6spDo/w-d-xo.html
It doesn’t expand the inner space of the tent but more prevents the fly from coming into contact with the inner which was problematic. Pulling the inner out slightly is something I’m going to maybe look at next! Cheers 👍🏻
