NOT JUST NEW TO ME? I didn't say I'd only just discovered it, though I guess I first used it six or seven years ago not 20 years ago. And there are a good few people who hadn't discovered it yet! PS Were the streets full of empty plastic bottles 20 years ago? 😉
I also keep plastic glass, the big ones that sometimes you get when purchasing a drink. I also keep a lots of thermoformed plastics of any shape and thickness when they sell products like glue etc. (in case of in the future, and I really use them)
Another great vid , you can also use a heatgun and shrink the large 'pop ' bottles , if you put a solid plug made from wood ect inside you can shrink it around it to make perfect replacement canopies
This is great! Now please solve the exposed motor problem with a spinner solution and your models will look perfect! Your channel deserves more views and subscribers, by the way.
It's a funny thing but I was looking at it just now and thought the same thing! I guess if I had a 3D printer (I was offered one free 2 weeks ago for review but said no) and knew how to use CAD I could make nose shroud? I have seen builds where people have recessed the motor into the foam but they need to be in the air for cooling. 😓. I'll work on it! 🤔 And thanks ... more views would be nice!
@@bobflyman There are small spinners with folding propellers that fit perfectly on a cut-off nose. After cutting the nose, just make a hole for the motor to fit in (and don't over-stress said motor to prevent heat) and you're done.
amazing!
Thank you!
Most of us Toy Airplane Weenies were heat shrinking bottl;es 20+ years ago.
This is only New to You.

Good idea. A little slice of something if it's the right shape can be very useful 😄
Nice! 👍
Thanks mate!
Fascinating to watch your ideas take shape. A great video.
Thanks!

This is great!
