I recently rewatched Demon Slayer and definitely couldn't stop thinking that they literally picked the most insane people in Japan to be Hashira, so I enjoyed that scene here.
That's because the author started with their personalities instead of their backstory. When writing characters, you can start with either and then continue with the other, but this can lead to some ...gaps in logic.

I know, Damn! It’s been over 5 years since I discovered these guys and they’ve continued to improve their skills in editing, writing, timing and especially Voice Acting, I can’t imagine them getting better than this!

You don’t see a lot of grown ups lining up for the cause. Plus the only ones who who would ever be crazy and desperate enough are children especially those looking for revenge against the demons who orphaned them.
A few of the big ones and most mentors are adults. The rest are either traumatized D&D character-backgrounds or raised into it by demon slaying families whose adults retired.

Incredible work from the script, the voice acting, sound editing, and the whole assembly! Keep up the great work, that was really entertaining and I loved the overall humor.
I just accidentally watched this with Closed Captions on, and... I highly recommend it. Thank you TFS for adding those extra touches even though not many people will see them and you totally could have gotten away without doing that.
If he had sounded like this during the dub, I might have actually chosen to watch more of it, but considering that most of it is pretty bad in terms of both chosen voices, and talent displayed (just look at episode 19) probably not.
Jeremy Crouch I like the dub but I admit Tanjiro’s voice threw me off. I always imagined it would be higher. But I got used to it. And I thought Inosuke and Zenitsu’s dub voices were pretty good.
@@MacyPooh196 my main issue is that, in episode 19 specificity, there's basically no emotion coming from the characters' voices. I can enjoy a good dub, or even a passable one, I watch Overlord mostly dubbed because then I can also do other things, and the main cast in that is great, but some of the background characters aren't, but I still can watch it, because they are the exception, not the majority. you can scream this at 99% of all shonen battle anime.
You don’t see a lot of grown ups lining up for the cause. Plus the only ones who who would ever be crazy and desperate enough are children especially those looking for revenge against the demons who orphaned them.
A few of the big ones and most mentors are adults. The rest are either traumatized D&D character-backgrounds or raised into it by demon slaying families whose adults retired.
Welp, even teenagers were forced to go at wars back at the days but I question myself this as well.

I just accidentally watched this with Closed Captions on, and... I highly recommend it. Thank you TFS for adding those extra touches even though not many people will see them and you totally could have gotten away without doing that.
God, the characterization of the demon doctor’s assistant is so accurate.
Also, I didn’t know it was possible to make Inosuke better.
If he had sounded like this during the dub, I might have actually chosen to watch more of it, but considering that most of it is pretty bad in terms of both chosen voices, and talent displayed (just look at episode 19) probably not.
The dub is horrible with tanjiro but the sub is awesome with zenitsu

Jeremy Crouch I like the dub but I admit Tanjiro’s voice threw me off. I always imagined it would be higher. But I got used to it. And I thought Inosuke and Zenitsu’s dub voices were pretty good.
@@MacyPooh196 my main issue is that, in episode 19 specificity, there's basically no emotion coming from the characters' voices. I can enjoy a good dub, or even a passable one, I watch Overlord mostly dubbed because then I can also do other things, and the main cast in that is great, but some of the background characters aren't, but I still can watch it, because they are the exception, not the majority.
