How to protect your stone countertops and sinks from chipping!

- When you have a lot of cooking to do - or someone else is using your kitchen, you want to protect your surfaces and sink edges from expensive to repair chips and scorch marks. Here is a nifty little solution easily with a bit of pipe insulation available in any hardware store and some all purpose glue.

Aw many thanks. I used Correx which is corrugated plastic just because I had it lying around-as you do, but the more eco friendly option is corrugated cardboard which can be recycled. It is a little foible of mine to flatten and keep large cardboard boxes just in case...
