When will TH-cam get it through their thick skulls that nobody is watching these INSTEAD of the movies? The only people who watch these videos are people who have already seen the movies and are already fans. If anything it keeps the older movies relevant, and spreads fandom for newer titles. Studios are shooting themselves in the foot by not supporting this type of reaction.
@@projectmertle9625 for me it works the other way around quite often, I'll have a "watch list"" where a lot of movies stay for a lonnnnng time. Then I'll see a reactor/ess publish the movie and I'll go out of my way to acquire the movie and see it because I want to watch the reaction afterward T.T
@@projectmertle9625 I don't understand how TH-cam does not understand that Fair Use allows people to show copyrighted content to discuss it. There is nothing illegal or copyright violating about what reactors are doing.
@camilla's corner RIP - - Dabbs Greer (Old Paul Edgecomb - also was the reverend in Little House On The Prairie in the 70s) - Michael Clarke Duncan (John Cofey - also played Bear in Armageddon) - Michael Jeter (Delacroix) That botched execution was based on a real life on a real life execution when they didnt wet the sponge.. ... and congrats, you just watched what was basically a modern reboot of the story of The Crucifixion.. lol.. think about it.. John Cofey (initials J.C.), accused, arrested, convicted and executed for a crime he didnt commit. Had power to heal. Presented himself as meek and subservient.
My first time commenting here, (but been watching your reaction vids and their awesome) and I would say this is becoming a tradition with the reuploads and I like it lol.
Not sure if it was intentional, but I always notice before the first execution, he says "You'll be fine", and then corrects himself by saying "You'll *do* fine".
This is one of the most emotional movies you'll ever see.. along with the movie Up! (which is AMAZING.. bring your box of tissues). James Cromwell played the warden. If you need an emotional lift after Green Mile to something a little more fun and light hearted, find the movie Babe, which also has James Cromwell.. but it's just so stinking cute.. and there's mice in it too!
"I think I'm gonna be sad the rest of the movie..." oh ma'am, you have no idea. This movie is like a good boxer: hits you slowly but consistently most of the way through until you're worn down and vulnerable, and then it throws like 5 gut punches in a row plus a haymaker at the end to finish it off. I've seen a lot of movies that pull hard at your heartstrings, but I've never seen one that squeezes as many of those moments into the last 15 minutes of a movie as this one.
Whoa, I had no idea about him in real life. But also, his character is just as bad in _A Time To Kill._ I guess he's not acting after all. Maybe directors just tell him to "be yourself, Doug."
A great reaction! I enjoyed it. Your channel is a great addition to the world of TH-cam reactors! I've seen about 50 reactions to this movie and everyone reacts about the same way. By the way, if you want to know how King thought about John Coffey, you might consider Coffey's initials.
Nice discussion. You have very good intuition: 1) Percy might kill the mouse; 2) Sam Rockwell's character might have killed the two girls; 3) John Coffey might have wanted to revive the two dead girls. You have 14K subscribers with only just 21 videos; hope you get a lot more subscribers!
One of the best re-telling of the Jesus Christ story ever. As well, I've always wondered, "Where the heck did Wild Bill get a nickel for the moon pie from?" Nobody knows! 🤷♂ Another miracle! lol😁
John is every good and moral black man in America. P.S. An if John lawyer wasn't so immoral maybe John might have healed his son. Michael should have won an Oscar for playing John Coffey! Oh and there is a story about a Roman soldier who helped kill Jesus was cursed to live until Judgement Day too.
@29:13 waste of a perfectly good moon pie. 😕 I woulda just eaten it as a snack 😋 They say RC Cola was specifically formulated to be served alongside moon pies so as to complement the taste. No idea if that’s true but it’s an interesting theory 🤓
Camilla. This film is so upsetting this is.defiantly going to make u cry I remeber watching the ending them cried over it that giant didn't deserve to go like that I have.got.to be the friendliest content creator
Top 3 most hated characters in movie history. 1. Percy Wetmore (The Green Mile.) 2. Nurse Ratched (Cuckoo's Nest.) 3. Dolores Umbridge (The Order of the Phoenix.)
I appreciate your reaction and commentary. I do wonder about the purpose of your journey. Are you looking for "recent" movies (within the last 40 years, or so) that you've heard about but have never seen? Are you seeking to discover well-crafted ( and "important") films throughout the history of movie-making? Some combination? I am curious because, like many of your audience, I have some knowledge and would be happy to recommend some films, but I don't wish to overwhelm you or refer you to movies that are outside of the scope of your interest.
Please react to the K-drama "Twinkling Watermelon" or "Crash Landing on You". TW is a high school rom-com meet-cute while CLOY is a more mature rom-com/suspense thriller. Both are really great.
Sorry to hear you had such a hard time with this reaction clearing the censor bot but hope it clear this time. 3rd time watch so hopefully 3rd time lucky.
i watched it on the first upload greetings from germany ..why you have to upload again? love your reactions..this one was awesome and a true great movie and your real emotions. i love it
14:50 Having seen several reactions to this, I begin to think one reason why Percy hesitates to intervene (apart from cowardice) is that he's hoping Paul will have to shoot Wild Bill.
yes it got taken down in certain countries, so I wanted to do a new edit and reupload due to that - plus it's only a matter of time before it got taken down in the rest
3rd and hopefully final upload... I apologize for the watermark but fingers crossed that this video won't get blocked! thx for bearing with me 😭

You are so unlucky. It must take its tool on you doing a re upload so many times. Just continue the good work 😊

The average lifespan of a mouse is around 1-2 years, which really puts into perspective how long Paul could potentially end up living.
Ok ok! I'll watch your reaction again. Just because I liked it.
When John says im sorry for what i am instead of im sorry for what ive done gets me everytime i watch this movie ..checkout CASTAWAY...

Also if you think Doug Hutchison is a bad guy in this movie, you should read about the kind of guy he is in real life

I love this movie, it's one of those movies one can watch again and again.
Camilla has the most unique eyebrows and I love them 😂
Oooh she's going to cry so much. I'm so excited!

Now you need to watch the mist, a third Darabont/King film
Hacksaw Ridge is a great movie and a true story.
Very Good Reaction!👌
I am now Subscribed.
Best Wishes and a great New Year from Texas.❤

If Percy hadn't shot Bill they might've told the warden that John was innocent but John wanted the pain to be over so😢😢😢😢yeah

Welcome to the club. This is one of the best movies ever made. It is something of a right of passage.
Great reaction as always. Just so sad that you had to reupload it. 🤨
This is your friendly re-post comment. Hello. May this bless your view count.

Sorry you're having trouble posting.
TH-cam seems to hit some harder than others.
Such an emotional movie.
Top 3 most hated characters in movie history.
1. Percy Wetmore (The Green Mile.)
2. Nurse Ratched (Cuckoo's Nest.)
3. Dolores Umbridge (The Order of the Phoenix.)
There's also the horrible businessman in the South Korean movie, "Train to Busan" (one of the best zombie movies in its genre),
I'd put Jenny from Forest Gump at the top lol

Repost all you want, I'm just gonna relike it. You can't stop me.
The original "upload" appears to be working OK.
link?
I still see the original one from 16 hours ago. Hopefully it can stay up?
I don't. Does it depend on the geographic zone? m in western europe (france)
yes it got taken down in certain countries, so I wanted to do a new edit and reupload due to that - plus it's only a matter of time before it got taken down in the rest
Really? Again? Oh well, here's some more algorithm love for you.
Your brows have more expression then most reactor's whole faces. Never, ever trim them down girl ! 😃
👍
I'm giving this a 3rd watch to help the almighty algorithm.
Catch me if you can.
