People always think sponge balls are easy to palm and manipulate but they really arn't. They are unpredictable and can squeeze into the gaps between your fingers when you're palming them. It's also trying to hold onto one between the bottom of your thumb and your palm is almost impoossible. Much easier if you have a ball that is a bit more solid so it's easier go grip
You can get some really convincing marked decks. Actual Bicycle cards that have the tiniest imperfections on the rear. Even if you were to put them side by side with real ones you'd never see the difference and it takes a while to learn the coding on the rear. And, I do mean a while. It took me ages to be able to decode the cards as they were being dealt. At first bit would take about 5 seconds of looking at the back before I could decode it and know what it said on the front. It's stupidly difficult to learn but I'm guessing it has to be otherwise you'd be caught out. But there's a better way to know what cards you are dealing to other players. At the poker table order a black coffee, you can use a glass of coke or whicky and coke but black coffee is better as it comes in a solid cup. As you're dealing you pass the cards over your drink and it acts like a mirror so you can see what cards you're dealing to a few of the players. Not all but a few. And some times a few is all you need to win ;)
I was thinking of doing this, but with AliExpress. There’s crap there, of course, but also some interesting stuff worth checking out. I’m also torn between doing a review or not on expensive replica stuff. I want the industry to thrive and magicians to profit from their own inventions, but selling something for $200 when you can get it just as well made for $18 is a no brainer. (I think we ALL know what I’m talking about because we ALL have the replica) Penguin used to be my go-to for supplies. Now, I pay less for more and there’s no drop in quality. I wish we manufactured stuff the way China does. Not in all ways.

This is why the magic circle denied your application. I used to really enjoy your videos as a working magician, and was behind you when you released your magic circle video. Until now. I use the marked deck that you decided to just clearly show the marking system on, though I won't anymore, and I'll be honest I'm disgusted that you chose to reveal this. You could have demonstrated it being marked without actually showing the marking system. Your supposed to be a magician and understand the fine line between revealing and reviewing magic. From a very disappointed fan.😡😡😡
I'm really sorry you feel this way. I didn't think too much at the time about "revealing" a cheap Wish magic trick. Yeah, with hindsight, maybe that was unnecessary. Dont let one small mistake in one video change your entire opinion of me, though 🤷♂️

Great vid, the hole on the sponge cube is meant so that if you turn the cube inside-out, then it looks like a ball.. at least that's how I learnt it

for the square sponge the whole is to turn it inside out..and it look like a ball. just pushing a finger in the middle and changes to square!
