Teddy . What a truely great singer with phenomenal talent , class. And extremely handsome man. When he smiled the lights never went out. RIP Teddy.
I just love all the respect that brothers had back then for each other.
What a voice Teddy had!
He made the Blue Notes as the star singer. Teddy was destine for success and success he made. R.I.P., Teddy. Love that voice!!♥️

Sounding like a teacher. Rest well my fellow Philly brother/elder.
A TRUE LEGEND! I'M STILL LISTENING IN 2O21. MISS YOU TEDDY BEAR. REST IN PARADISE TEDDYP!🙏❤️
Me as well in 2021!! Still celebrating 50 years of Philadelphia International Records. The true sound of Soul Music.
Teddy. has stolen All heart ❤️ ❤️❤️ of every woman 👠 in the world. His voice will continue to be with me.
I loved the way Don dressed on the show. He always looked so sharp.
Teddy was Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. He was the soul of the group!!!!!
A lot of people where calling HIM "Harold" back then!
Sure was. No wonder Harold threatened to kill him when he went solo.
@@MisterB2eternity Damn, really? Is there any video or anything that verifies this?

I honestly never paid attention to the blue notes and still wouldn’t really recognize Harold. My ears were always full of TEDDY’s voice, lyrics, deep raspy sensuality and still is to this day. It just was. Going solo was the best decision ever. At least for me 🌊🔥😮💨💜💫🎶🎶🎶🎶
Going solo is the best decision Teddy ever made after getting ripped off by Harold Melvin.
R.I.P. Teddy, we miss you!
Loved the way Teddy spoke and he sang even better.
Handsome, tall man Mr Teddy Pendergrass.
RIP 🙏 Teddy Pendergrass
TOLD DONALD, ITS PEN-DER-GRASS DONALD, AND DONT YOU EVER FORGET IT. LOVE IT! TEDDY, WAS SOMETHING LIKE A PHENOMENON! HE WAS HEAVEN SENT AND A ONCE IN A LIFETIME WITNESS. 1
I'm a 29-year-old 🇯🇵 guy who smiles when I watch the interaction between the austere and sexy TP and Don.
In the mid 90's, a program called "Soul Train '70s" was aired on 🇯🇵 satellite TV, and this interview was provided with 🇯🇵 subtitles.
So soft-spoken and seems humble. Saw him at the Apollo. What an experience.
Teddy was the greatest singer ever before that horrific car crash that ruined his career in 1982. All the power in his voice was gone. Listen to the 1973 Album Black and Blue by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes his singing is sensational on that Album especially on the track It All Depends On You. The power and passion in his voice is incredible, it’s my favourite Album of all time, 50 years on I never get tired of it.
It didn't ruin his career. He still could sing and had a good voice and had gold selling albums. But it altered his career.
Donald🤣🤣🤣
🤣
The man looked gooodddd 😊
I remember Mr Pendergrass . When I visit my parents I can visit Mr Pendergrass as well at Laurel Hill in Bala Cynwyd. RIP Sir
He's even buried next to Billy Paul.
I love the banter.
Sounds like Mr T 😊
Good night watching from Guyana teddy bear love you forever RIP Tp
My oldest sister loved her some TP she always called him LOVE TKO , by listening to his music so much she sparked my interest in his music which I still have now !
RIP Teddy and Donald
🔥🔥
Nice interview with music singer Teddy Pendergrass of Harold Melvin And The Blue Notes in Soul Train television show. Teddy Pendergrass(RIP), The Jacksons(RIP Michael Jackson), Florence Ballard of The Supremes(RIP)is my favorite black music singers.

TEDDY SHOLE WAS FINE!!!!!!
It was a pleasure working on psychopathy with my husband as the source and remember anger is anger this angers me don’t have me wait for a hit through the interview and you introduce a brand new hit . Psychopathy anger comparisons on anger the source..lol so archer Spaniards methods are different but effective lol thank you bye source and husband 2007
Why Harold always look jealous at Teddy when they performed
🙄
I will agree as a pretend audience member waiting for the hut to be performed so I can tear up the dance floor “ these are the wrong things to do with somebody when you are setting them up” bye archer Spaniard former angry dancer waiting through the interview for major commercial hit performances
It's a damn shame that all this time before he went solo, most if not all of us thought that he was Harold Melvin, because he was always up front singing,Lol.
Can some one tell me what year this was
The original airdate was April 23, 1977

So as insane as the mental debates go with a psychopath and assessor these relatability examples with situations that made me personally angry sis not work ..lol for the psychopath with the response was either bewilderment or frustration at a waste of time with this example not needed..therefore the startled response is a sanity test. Lol but because of the cage non functional but possibly with beta development.Source 2008
Human anger relatability examples like these for psychopathy communications “built up for them to perform their major hit and they introduce something new” ..lol fun as ever for me for aggression and sanity testing but I must admit non functional ..okay maybe with beta testing? Okay no..lol but I learned at least..” bewilderment and frustration..”why the hell was this necessary? Aha sanity test..lol source 2008
