ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Fantastic Four's 50 thru 100 with Jack Kirby Joe Sinnott art were the BEST Marvel Comics of the Silver Age.

@@ShartimusPrime Joe Sinott taking over inks for Jack Kirby was a HUGE leap forward for Fantastic Four...I believe that Galactus & Silver Surfer debuted with that art team..as well as Kirby's "PSYCHEDELIC" work as well.. using photography in background..etc etc..
IMO that era was the BEST comic book art up until that time..& is STILL up there as far as ALL TIME great art goes.

If Mezco released this Thing by his lonesome, then we'd be in business.
ShartimusPrime remember not to rotate Thing's arms at the shoulder, only at the butterfly's place. I've seen pictures online of people tearing off his arms by rotating them at the shoulder, and there are very small pins there. It's misleading, but the shoulders are only for lifting the arms to the sides. Buterfly works so poorly for me too, which is a big letdown. I split my Thing at the torso with a hair dryer and greased the pins with silicone oil and his abbcrounch started working better than the one from Legends.
I already have the Mezco Dr Doom and now im wanting this set as well 😅

Figures themselves are pretty cool, and a long with a marvel Mezco shelf are a must own, but they still look like they are in loose pajamas.

H. E. R. B. I. E actually stole the show in this set. I wasn't really a fan of the robot, but the details and extras he has on this set actually made him very interesting. Among the main team, Reed surprisingly tops the everything. The rest are okay, but a bit disappointing. It's a shame, because Ben is my favorite character ever, and he was my most anticipated figure in this set. I was hoping to be blown away by mezco, but I wasn't. The Human Torch not having a fully flamed-on suit and the invisible woman not having an invisible buck also disappoints for the price of the set. Still I love H. E. R. B. I. E.❤😂😅
Its funny because I've only watched 2 reviews of this set and as I watch this one, I had NO IDEA that Herbies eyes pop out and that the control panel pulls out... I guess those other reviews didn't go into that or know about that...

They're nice. But for way less money, Marvel Select has knocked it out of the park with their FF figures.
Yeah but select doesn’t scale. So ridiculously unfortunate cuz they’ve produced some definitive figures honestly that are just straight useless to me because they don’t scale (except for isolated photography, but it’s still limited than)

It was, your guess about a legal issue was right on the money. The rights to Human Torch were off with a different company, so he was replaced with Herbie. Same thing happened with Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, which is why we have Firestar

This thing figure is probably the same height or slight smaller than the legends thing. Icenseen reviews and he looks shorter. But I can't tell you for sure since I don't own him.

I was waiting for you to review this. I like this set a lot! Honestly though I already have most the ML FF sets, so I will pass and like you said is not as good as the TMNT 4pk. That's worth the money. Honestly I'll probably just buy Thing solo and eventually cave and buy Mezco DOOM too

I wish Sue had less chest and more curvy hips, she looks unnaturally petite compared to her team, Sue isn’t rlly drawn as an ultra skinny woman in the Kirby era either so her body here was a weird choice
