Fantastic video Ron. Replaced my damaged prop prior to watching this video and experienced slight vibration starting at about 20-25% power. Was about to waste a ton of money replacing my prop shaft but saw this video, removed/reinstalled the prop following your instructions and voilà: smooth as buttercream. You are truly an invaluable asset to the entire past, present and future ski boat community.

Great video Ron. As always.
Thank you for posting. God Bless you as well!
Really nice straight forward and very informative. Thank you.
Thread pitch and size on the shaft nut? I lost mine and luckily the prop stayed on!
Can be many reasons for vibrations?
Looks like an OJ prop.
Great channel
You can use a beveled edged key.
What’s a key weigh? About 1/8 oz.
do you lap props to tapered shafts?
Good video
whats the torque on the nut?thanks
I was going to ask this exact question.
Can you install the prop backwards?
NO, not props with tapered shafts, some of the newer ski boats have splined shafts & I suspect they could be put on backwards
What is the torque on the prop nut?
I've never used a torque wrench to tighten a prop nut, I use a 1/2" breaker bar & make-em tight
