@@thefleshfailures6 actually rev. Chris isn’t wealthy. He used to be engineer I believe and had a beautiful house but sold it and quit his job to follow CHRIST and be a priest. He actually has talked about it. And I don’t think it’s the fact that it was a phone although it was expensive and you don’t give someone that you don’t think much of a close friend an expensive gift. But it’s the fact that they thought about him.
The only channel where a “you’re an idiot” phone case would be a heartwarming gift!

@@Dr.K.Wette_BE yes Charles and Chris are twins. i think everyone else are friends and go to Rev Chris’ church. don’t know why Andy lives with Rev Chris now (renovation? in between places?) but seems like their entire group have lived at each other’s houses at one point.

My older brother used to play music so loud that the wall between us shook enough to make frames fall down, in adulthood he's admitted to turning the speakers towards the wall just to annoy me. For years and years almost all around the clock, it was close to torture. So when he got kids I made sure to buy them fun presents that made lots of loud noises. Revenge is best served with extra durable batteries and a superglued shut battery hatch. XD
This channel got me through my horrible Covid years. After losing my job and getting in debt because of that, there were days where I didn't know where my next meal would come from. This channel just gives joy, which also shows in the comments. I remember saying something about having a dark day, mentally (which happens when you're in a tremendous amount of stress), and the people in the comments section picked me up. I'm slowly working myself up to being "normal" again, but I'm still here for the videos!
I'm glad life is a little better, but I'm sorry to hear it's been such a rough few years. I hope that the future continues to get brighter, and you find purpose and self-worth in the experiences of life. Keep going, you're doing better than you think. God bless

I have the expression from the crucified Santa in Japan, that it's actually an artpiece criticising the idolatry of consumerism during Christmas (Japanese Christians are highly critical of the appropriation of Christmas by the Japanese economy). But, looking at the wide world and all the pain, misery and sorrow there down to the horrors my mother and I had to live through I had to believe one of two things: God was real, but HAD to be evil to allow such things to happen to those whom he claimed to love despite the fact he could intervene at any moment and put a stop to it all or that he WASN’T real and that everything that happens in the world, or that had happened already, was inevitable and there was no way to put a stop to any of it, short of the individual choices we humans make. So, all the evils of the world fall on humanity alone, no cruel deity sitting around watching it all happen and cruelly letting it go on. I’ve been through things that most people could never imagine surviving and my mother went through worse than I did. For a god to allow that to happen (and, bear in mind if it happened to my mother and I then it’s happened to countless others and worse) he’d have to be pure, unadulterated evil. So, I’d rather believe in no god at all, for my own sanity.
@@RianLyons well I understand but I have had encounters with God a lot of times to the point where I can't ignore his existence and as for all the suffering happening and God letting it happen is something I can't answer unfortunately but I know God is good regardless and that he loves you too. I even questioned God's goodness at one point but when my mother prayed over me I felt a burni g sensation and the feeling of o had done something wrong and that I am someone with a limited worldview who knows nothing so I'll keep my faith in God. But your suffering isn't invalid.

As someone who has a birthday mid-Dec, I think the only problem I ever experienced as a kid was not being able to have a party because I lived in a place with a lot of snow and people could not get to your house to celebrate.

As a person born at the end of december, I fully understand that bus being hit by a train.
All my childhood I heard "You had a lot of gifts for Christmas so you won't get a lot for your birthday." And I accepted it.
i was born on the 26th of december and i'm jewish. that bus my december.
I feel so sorry for my 80 year old Asian grandma who has thoroughly underestimated the hype of Christmas when staying in America for the winter. 🤣 I was the only one in the family that gave her a Birthday gift. 😅 Most people sees Christmas as a time for lovers or bonding in Asia. Not always big parties, it seems. In China, the level of festivities seems to be the opposite to America when it comes to New Years, especially Lunar New Years. (Her birthday was on the second week of December 😅)
