What is happening in that caller's home is what happens when couples decides to listen to generalised media noises rather than look at their peculiar partners and sort out what works for them.

The problem with Bisi is that she most times portrait the image of a 'boss lady' in her home, meaning she mostly have her way on matters after having 'conversations' with her husband. This may or may not be the case in reality.
Yes, let's give it to her that she's very eloquent and outspoken on many issues, but when it comes to matters relating to her home, her stand is that 'yes, my husband is the head but I also have a say in everything'. That's a stylish way of saying they are equal or she's in charge. So it is easy for the caller's wife or anyone misinterprete her.

Our Nigerian women are just taking this feminism to a very negative level sometimes. How can a woman mandate dish washing days on her husband? If a woman handles her home very well with great love & understanding, she doesn't even need to tell the man to do the kitchen chores and he will find himself doing them with enthusiasm & sense of belonging. Every husband is different, if doing the dishes is yours weakness, please accommodate him, capitalize and build on his strength. Is not everything you hear on social media is applicable to your home. I once told a cameroonian lady that my language (Ibibio) is a God given language, so I speak it any time any where (that was after she said I should not speak my language because it's a vernacular, that I should only be spoken in the village). I had to lecture her on creation and language as part of culture.
I know my language is not a vernacular as termed by people who colonized my grand father.
