Women talk sweetly and in a low voice at the beginning of the relationship but once they become comfortable and get into bitch mode, you need to get out of the relationship. I don't know what the frustration is inside them, but even with simple arguments, they yell in their highly pitched voice. Many people feel that yelling does prove their point true and right.

I was in a 3 year relationship and had both my kids with my girlfriend at the time. Got abused for 2 of those 3 years and prayed and asked to god for help. Prayed every night and morning and during my shift for guidance and one weekend I decided to take her and my bestfriend and a couple other friends out and she cheated on me right infront of my face and that was the last straw for me. I broke up with her and fought for custody for my 2 girls and won. And ended finding my fiancé now 6months later. And my relationship with her is just amazing. Words can’t describe how blessed I am. But 1 year goes by and my ex takes her own life by overdosing. I just wished her nothing but the best in life. But yeah my life with my fiancée and 2 girls is just amazing

Nah not really. That only works that way if the person the words were said to is too immature to forgive. People do and say fucked up things and most people don’t change or regret it at all but there are some that do. If a person genuinely is showing you through actions that they’re aware they fucked up and hurt you then you not forgiving them is equally as fucked up as what they originally did. I know a man who everyone judged as a bad person all because he beat his wife into a coma while she was pregnant but what literally none of them took the time to learn was that she cheated on him many times over and he had forgiven her over and over and the last time it happened he genuinely thought she had changed and hadn’t been sleeping around anymore but then she came up pregnant which was quite literally not possible with him because as a child he was in an accident and lost both testicles among other issues. He was destroyed mentally and emotionally and even after he explained that he knew she was cheating again and why he knew she still tried to lie about it and claim it must be a miracle. He was preparing a case against her so he could divorce her and not lose his stuff and she destroyed his house and a lot of the evidence he had about her cheating in the past and that time. He snapped after discovering that while she was destroying his evidence she also dumped his mother’s ashes in the tub and washed them down and then shattered the urn. He beat her until he collapsed and the police showed up and found him still unconscious because a neighbor heard the violence and called. He beat the case because he had a very good lawyer that helped him prove that he wasn’t in a good mental state and she exacerbated the problem pushing him completely over the edge. He felt absolutely awful that he ended the babies life before it could begin and eventually took his own life by shotgun. He was such a kind and caring man I’ll never understand how that woman could cheat on him. He worked non stop to make sure she had anything she could want and more and stood up for her when needed and everything. My point is he needed someone to forgive him because he really had changed and regretted his decision made in anger

From a quick read of the plot. I think people are generally missing the point. The main theme (again from a very quick read so forgive me) is that they felt a societal pressure to do the right thing, to keep their job, to stay married when they didn't like who they had become (though they obviously seemed to love each other), to not move to a foreign country and start again when they had "responsibilities". The pressure broke them. The girl confessed she didn't love him anymore. The guy is buckling under the pressure of middle age, with a job he doesn't like and in a marriage with someone that seems not to care about him. She is also buckling seeing a man she no longer loves destroying himself while being trapped as well. So the abortion is her way of getting out and ultimately killed her.
So maybe people think it is harsh but it really isn't as simple as don't yell at your wife or she'll kill herself. The bigger message I feel is that they should have gotten away and given up on the external pressure and expectations together. They both were stressed. In the story that was going to Paris and starting again.

No, the real lesson is that love is a commitment in action, and not a feeling. You can still choose to love one another in a place without romance, and romance can be built from the loving action we do. Their avoidance of their duty to love one another led to the killing of their child.

I watch them to remind me that I’m so blessed to not be married to a man like that. I was a single mum and my ex was a lot like Leo’s character. I chose to leave him because I felt I would kill myself one day if I stayed on with him. Thankfully, I am now married to a wonderful man who adopted my son and we have had two more sons. "Revolutionary Road" is a powerful and emotionally charged film set in the 1950s. It revolves around Frank and April, a seemingly perfect couple living in suburban America. However, beneath the surface, they are trapped in a cycle of unfulfilled dreams and stifled ambitions. As they confront their own desires and the pressures of society, their relationship begins to unravel. This thought-provoking drama explores themes of conformity, disillusionment, and the struggle to find meaning in a seemingly ordinary life. With exceptional performances and a compelling narrative, "Revolutionary Road" is a must-watch for those seeking a profound cinematic experience.

My fiance had been acting strange all week. That morning I got up early and for the first time ever I checked his phone. I discovered he had been flirting with another woman for about a month and talking about meeting up with her again. When he woke up that morning I confronted him and he denied everything and then I showed him his phone. He was very angry that I had looked at his phone and started yelling at me. He told me when he met her he realized that maybe I was not, the one. I yelled at him to leave my house immediately. About 10 minutes after he left I felt the blood. I had a very difficult miscarriage and had to have an emergency d and c. We were never the same after that and soon broke up. Words are very powerful and to this day I wondered what it might have been like to have that baby. It was my last chance as I was already in my early 40s and never had a baby. I live alone now but I think about how different things might have been if I had been able to be a mother as I always wanted to be. Men play at life like it's a game.

Exactly why you Should have had children In Your twenties.... When you wait until after 30, you are high risk... 40??? EXTREMELY high risk of complications, deformities/abnormalities, disorders, and miscarriage. So much so that it is borderline IRRESPONSIBLE to try.
Bummer you didn't prioritize family and children earlier in life. Too many women piss it all away partying in their 20s, thinking they can figure it out in their 30s or even 40s, and it's wishful thinking to even ASSUME you can provide a man with children at that point.. But y'all ignore the extreme risk and possibility of failure to do so from a medical standpoint.... It's sad unfortunately.
Women who don't get married and have children In their 20s as they should, are in for a rude awakening when their "ho phase" is over, and often times that ship has sailed. And life alone gets lonely as hell for an unmarried middle-aged woman with no children.
Warn the young women around you, they don't seem to understand THEIR clock is ticking. We men HAVE NO CLOCK, our window for marriage and family doesn't close, women's do and faster than they like to delude themselves into thinking. 🤔
Get a husband and prioritize family and children, OR buy a dog and die alone. That's the options ultimately

Being a person who is always silent during fights, let me say one thing clearly - being silent doesn't mean we are weak. It means either you hv hurt us or we have given up on you . We know our worth n value our time. That's why we let the front person speak n scream. I never argue when I know there is no point. Even though I'm not at fault, I'll stay quiet. That's the only way to make someone realise how much they have hurt me to the extent I don't even argue now.
Pov - if you think someone is weak during an argument Caz he/she ain't arguing. It's either they hv given up or they are angry but controlling themselves.

Or in my case, I don't know what to say or I can't talk. Because I don't want to fight I want to communicate.
But they are not communicating they're fighting. I'm quiet because I'm trying to find the right kind of words to communicate To show I am not attacking, I am not defending, But there's nothing I can find to try to express that to the person so I don't talk. Because me talking won't do anything To make anything better could even make the situation worse.
Sometimes can just tell that the people don't really want to communicate and work things out they just want to express all their anger frustration big feelings at you.
And when that happens Responding in the same won't help the situation. It will only add fuel to the fire. And I don't want to get burnt.

There are men who are abused too
Some of us grew up abused, mistreated, and misunderstood, only to be treated that way in life by narcissist greedy self absorbed people. I get so tired of being called a bad guy when i lose a job or get down on my luck, I didn't choose to be abused as a kid, but i can choose how to be now. Do unto others as you wish to be done to you

This movie NEEDED to be made; and I cannot possibly think of two more deserving individuals to do this film. They both have appeared on the screen together and separate and they SHINE ✨! They are able to captivate us and pull us in. They are able to make the character relatable to so many individuals. Across do A LOT of learning about their characters and their ailments and what emotions one would truly be feeling. They study everything. And bring this raw, uncut, necessary, beautiful portrayal of what real life was and is like.
To all of us who survived - I’m proud of you.

When a woman is oppressed, and torn down enough, she will start removing the chains that bind one link at a time, even while maintaining the facade. She will either break free, or break and go too far past the line and the world will lose the spark of her being.
Abuse is more than physical, it's mental and emotional as well. Both of which start so subtly that your in up to your neck before you even notice anything wrong.
Kindness over games, love and consideration in all things with your partner. They are the most vulnerable to your careless, angry, or hateful words and actions. You wound them so much more deeply. These scars never fade. These actions teach the kids that it's okay to treat the parent this way, and they have the power to destroy her completely. The love of a parent doesn't stop, even when they have been broken and cast aside by the kids.

But a man can disregard what he's said, never apologies for it until something tragic happens and is too late.

@lilpotato7297 as an L+D RN...respectfully, YOU are wrong and that other person is right. While stress certainly does effect your baby, it isnt going to cause you to miscarry unless your cortisol levels are already high from an underlying condition. When there is a healthy implantation and development of a fetus...then it takes A LOT to cause miscarriage, like a car accident. Simply having a stressful week, and getting into a screaming match is NOT going to make you miscarry. The main cause of a miscarriage in early pregnancy is that there is something developmentally wrong with the fetus, or there wasn't proper implantation. Neither of these is caused by stress.

When someone stops fighting, it means they’ve given up. She’s given up on trying to get her husband to love her because she knows he never will. She’s given up on trying to make her broken marriage work because she knows it’s already over. She’s given up on having a happy family with her husband because she knows that no family she creates with him will be happy. She’s given up on fighting for any chance of a happy life because she feels like it’s completely out of reach. She’s done and nothing matters to her anymore. Not even her own life. She decided to remove the child in her womb. The child that was sired by her wretched husband. The child that will bind her to this miserable life even further. The child who would’ve been condemned to suffer in a home where their father doesn’t love them or their mother. She knew it could kill her, but she didn’t care about that anymore. If anything, part of her might’ve even hoped that it would because at least then she’ll finally be free of her misery.

Become like my granpather, and he wasn’t a great person) now both are in peace with each other (minus the times they fight on the phone cuz dad can be an asshole toward my sisters) and they only interact with each other when it’s about my sisters, I on the other hand barely interact with him now (he is my step father so we don’t really have much relationship as father/son) ironically now we live in the same street but things are okish

It takes two to make a marriage work. neither Frank or April were fully invested in their marriage anymore. Frank wanted the picture perfect propagandist image of a family from that era. I think April was depressed. She wasn't where she wanted to be at that point in her life.Which is why she was so eagered to relocate. She'd hope a new environment would revitalize them. Judging from the convos they had about the early stages of their marriage, they seem to have had a whimsical idea of what marriage is. I think they failed to realize that marriage takes a lot of work & effort to maintain it. Both were unhappy because their marriage wasn't what they fantasized it would be.

I think that sums up most marriages today, really, and why the divorce rate is as high as it is. Sadly, we've grown up being fed unrealistic ideas of what love and marriage are "supposed" to be, so when reality hits we're completely unprepared. 😞💔

Well then maybe you shouldn't say hurtful and spiteful things out of anger....plain and simple 🤷🏼‍♀️ fuck the whole "Sticks and stones" because words do hurt. Especially if it came from someone you adore more than anything in this world and someone whom you thought would NEVER say those things to you. You BOYS will never learn will you?

These people have dropped their pain publicly, no credit given for that, why would you be that way? Why say thse thngs about thm? It puts you in a worse place than they feel they are in. At least there is remorse there while it makes you look as you have none, you did cant unsay this. We have to not hurt ech other. We rarely get do overs.
