One of the hallmark of 80s sound is each artist has unique and vocal identity, much like TALK TALK vocals of the late Mark Hollis...such one of best sounds in 80s which I grow up and will never forget to it's one of a kind captivating sound, music & composition they made which is a brilliant work of art.

To me this song was the quintessential new wave synth song of its time but seeing & hearing this live version now, I realize how nuanced & textured this song really is. Synth was always perceived as cold & techno but this casts away all those aspersions by its dynamic & layered sound. Simply brilliant.
