00:20 Thanks for the warm welcome with the right hand..🤗 24:57 the things will be more protected against the people who they try to replace the screen without taking battery out... 'Like me'...😂🤣😂 28:38 Aaawww... Look at your face, how happy you are.. The vital Smile after fixing something... This video is inevitable. And thank you for educating us about the other diagnoses over the problem. I Learned new things, and the vital part is your description. As always Its awesome.. Thank you master. God bless you...
I am new to this field and got inspired by seeing your video classes. Please let me have your beginner's videos which will certainly help me to underst and about Laptops. Thank you sir
Awesome and amazing video, Soin. Thank you much for sharing 🙏. Now I've learn about where to check on laptop when everything is on except imsge. Well done job Soin!
Very nice repair! Keep up good videos. Good information about the laptops. It's very hard to receive good information about those complex devices. Thanks a lot! :)
Wow I have this very Vaio with this very same issue...........now to take it apart and fix! I was going to buy a new screen but not now until I replace that bloody fuse. Many thanks liked and subscribed.
Probably people who know that you cannot replace a fuse which has resistance in milliohms with 4.7 ohm resistor. It will cause power loss, and instead of protesting safely will burn PCB in case of overcurrent.
bravo te apreciez foarte mult te urmaresc de pe toate conturile mele de google tine o tot asa, ma uit la tine ca la o emisiune la tv.Stiu ca esti roman de aia ti am scris in engleza , bravo!!!!
Job fixed and well done, but what would be a better solution is to find the reason to the fuse blowing? I'd like to request and suggest a fully dedicated video on diagnosis and trace of what and why actually caused a blown fuse. Reverse polarity? In rush current? Power spike?
I was expecting to see a thin wire aka "proper calibrated fuse" in place of the old one like you did with a ps4 repair, but what made that fuse to blow up in the first place a faulty screen most likely
hi great great video i have the same issue on a vaio fit 15A flip but i can't find the backlight fuse i messed up by replacing screen without removing the battery wich is glued on and screwed in
Hey Sorin. Another beautiful day and another great video. What is the kind of multimeter you are using in this video? The one on the bottom. Is it usb or pc-based somehow? It looked like you were switching from volts to ohms with the mouse. I know in the other video about your tools you mentioned the bench multimeter, but this one looks different. The display looks very sharp. Which one is it? Thank you!
Electronics repair school but if I need to check with multimeter and you recommend taking batt. out and adaptor how can I test the points at the screen section? Continuity, scale of diode symbol on multi.?
Thanks for your video, just located the fuse...its dead. So should be the solution to the no backlight problem. If this works you have saved me the cost of new laptop...Will let you know when I have swapped out the fuse.
Soin, I've the same screen issue, but not on Sony VAIO, and however, it's on Asus Z240IC-H170. I sent to Northridgefix for no power on repair, but he couldn't find and then he shipped back to me, i cleaned off the CPU thermal paste and put the new one on. Then boom... it powered up but no image. Please advise whete i should check this issue on ASUS Z2440IC AIO. Thank you much in advance and hope to hear from you soon 😊 please 🙏
yes, that is why he didn't get 19V on that pins leading to the display....but it is not that important bc it is used for generating smaller voltage via dc-dc.
Hello spring Can u tell me how can I know the power button pins in the motherboard ,if I know the 3.3v should I short with...... or I don't want the 3.3v Thanks
U r a master, Thank You a Lot... even if i got same pb on a sony vaio (it's not a fuse but it's a PolySwitch), but it was a pleasure to watch the video cauz u help to develop my knowledge, keep it up ;)... Need Help on Lenovo B560, Can u explain how to fix when the voltage is correct, picture is correct, but there is no backlight??
i have got the same Sony vio laptop, i am having trouble with blinking LED light and not turning on, sometimes it turn's on sometime doesn't, getting hard-time to repair. and i am self learner , can you please help me out out to identified. what is wrong with?

Hi i did everything.. i heated up my gpu, bgu chip on my sony vaio... but there’s no picture at all.. no light at all. The laptop boots fine fans are spinning but no success. Please guys would anyone of you help me out? Im stuck and I don’t know what to do anymore

Many thanks liked and subscribed.
First thank you for good video and teaching my question is do you bridge VLED and LED Enable together when no light or you give 3.3v each point ?
Bridge them together and do a jumper to the 3.3v main line
Thank You that is clear enough good job keep it up honestly I am a hobbyist and enjoy watching your videos every time I learn something from you.
Electronics repair school what wire specs do you use ?
You just taught me something - take battery out before replacing the screen - never heard of this before
Those 3 who disliked the video must be the ''techs'' who blew up the fuse :) Nice job Sorin ...
Probably people who know that you cannot replace a fuse which has resistance in milliohms with 4.7 ohm resistor. It will cause power loss, and instead of protesting safely will burn PCB in case of overcurrent.
It was no boring job , I liked the video and I'm already suscribe. I'm learning a lot from you.
Thank you Master.

Multumesc
Nice one boss, its very easy on you troubleshooting that kind of screen issue. I've learned a lot from your videos. More power and God bless
Job fixed and well done, but what would be a better solution is to find the reason to the fuse blowing? I'd like to request and suggest a fully dedicated video on diagnosis and trace of what and why actually caused a blown fuse.
Reverse polarity?
In rush current?
Power spike?
probably someone tried and replaced the screen with battery connected or charger
On Toshiba laptops this never happened?
I did replace many screens with battery connected and always volt. Not sure if Toshiba laptops are different?
Nice video. Lots of information
That was a good one, using the 5 ohm. I would have taken a R010 or R020 current sense resistor, though.
"another boring job" 8:20 sec lol
I was expecting to see a thin wire aka "proper calibrated fuse" in place of the old one like you did with a ps4 repair, but what made that fuse to blow up in the first place a faulty screen most likely
hi great great video i have the same issue on a vaio fit 15A flip but i can't find the backlight fuse i messed up by replacing screen without removing the battery wich is glued on and screwed in
Sorin you saved me with this video!!! :D

Excellent information Thank you
nice repair bro keep it up
So there is 19 V, 3,3 V and 3,3 V goin to screen in LED backlight screen. Is there same voltages in CCFL backlight screens?
Very good, I have learned from you. but I have a question how can it service without schematics?
You are perfect!!!! Same issue on my laptop!!! TNX!!!
Thank you teacher!!
i have this problem with my sony vaio,
tonight i will try to repair. regards!!
Solved?
i love this video,very informative
Great Video Sorin
what brand you use of usb power tester?
What is the name and model of your hot air solder station? Thanks
Hi Sorin at 10:50 the 19vdc "always there" comment. What killed these people, the amperage? If so, how many amps flows at those points?
around 3-4A depends of the charger
Electronics repair school thanks!
Electronics repair school but if I need to check with multimeter and you recommend taking batt. out and adaptor how can I test the points at the screen section? Continuity, scale of diode symbol on multi.?
i said to take the battery out only when you replace the screen. Check with multimeter on volts with the laptop on
Got it thanks!
Thanks for your video, just located the fuse...its dead. So should be the solution to the no backlight problem. If this works you have saved me the cost of new laptop...Will let you know when I have swapped out the fuse.
sir, how find the 3.3v main line
with the multimeter, you have some big caps near to the screen connector
Why not clean the fan and heatsinks while its apart?
good video after long time.
I have the same problem, nice job.
Soin, I've the same screen issue, but not on Sony VAIO, and however, it's on Asus Z240IC-H170. thank you sir. i go to same way and repair difrent sony vaio. you are king...
25:02 Same here. hehehe. Man you are the best!
Wouldn't the 4R7 resistor drop a few volts? Might be time to stock up on SMT fuses ;)
yes, that is why he didn't get 19V on that pins leading to the display....but it is not that important bc it is used for generating smaller voltage via dc-dc.
al menos me sirvió para aprender algo mas que solo cambiar el display...muy buen video!
Hello spring
