realisation of a childhood dream come true.. long ride in my Kawasaki z800 today morning.. which I just bought last month
Manav yes your mom asked
Very honest opinion about crash bobbins.
മച്ചാൻ ഇവിടെ വന്നിരുന്നു അല്ലേ
I know the pain of bike getting wrecked. 😭 It wasn't a superbike though, just the regular RS200, but the crash just broke my heart and left me bruised in a couple of places.
That was some real professionalism in terms of explaining it.
On point, In case of severe crashes it could break the engine mounts or chassis points itself :/ But surely helps if the fairings are a lot more costly, especially when it comes to sbks :)
Been a follower of PD since i watched one of the review way back in 2015, and have been hooked to great reviews specially by sagar, the best thing you are not just limiting yourself to bike reviews but also accessories, would love to know best helmets for Indian conditions keeping mind the budget segment...also keep bringing things that new bikers will love to see .
Crash bobbins. For when your guardian angels couldn't keep up with your superbike.
Simple and practical stuff.. What about other things like engine and radiator guard?
Whenever I see a video of this series, I make sure I take some time out to cry in the corner of the room.
I like these little bits. Will you be doing frame sliders, engine protectors ... Also is it possible to suggest a few additional brands or maybe do a comparison of such parts. As always ... love your work. Big fan 👌👌👌
Absolutely spot on. I'm getting mine ASAP.
Great to know. High 5!
thank you so much
Aren't crash guards better given that they will bend to absorb impact? Are crash bobbins preferred due to aesthetics or does it not matter at high speeds?
(From experience, the ones on Pulsar 200 NS are fantastic)
thank you..very useful info
I can only love this channel
That's why hone your skills to milimiteric precision and never fall.
You are the best ..
i always wait for ur reviews.
PowerDrift u guys deserve a
Bharat Ratna {the greatest award in india} for your efforts
Aren't engine case covers much safer option?
are crash bobbins only meant for racing super bikes ???.. or they can be used in any bike... to be specific .. what about crash bobbins for re Himalayan ??
Good tips brother 👍
Loving this series
Awesome #PDARMY
Are these also called "frame sliders"?
Yeah!
Raghav Saishankar i think there is some difference between frame sliders and this stuff. i saw a video before about this same r@g. will check and put the link below
it's skyline shop right👍
How to install on cbr 250 r
I have bought it bt m nt able to install
Happiness is to see Sagar Bhai,Love you !
wont they bend the mounting point since many of them are mounted to the chassis also?
When installed at the right place by someone who knows what he is doing, there should be little to no threat to the chassis
nice 1 pd... any1 know the song in the background?
Bro where can we get it give discretion.....
can you review benelli 135
Crash bobbins..😍
Is it advisable to have those on smaller capacity bikes like 200NS or Duke..I mean taking into account the expense of the bobbins.??
How much do the R&G bobbins cost..??
Akhil K Suresh r&g ones are pretty expensive 5-8k depending on which ones you get so I would recommend just getting some affordable ones from a decent shop.

only 1 word for kawasaki series is «DHAMAKA»
is this available for the lower class full faring bikes like r15, cbr etc..??
Rahul Das dolu
Wow... Something I didn't know about. So are these bobbins made only for superbikes or for normal bikes like RE350, FZ, KTM RC200 as well?
They are made for the RC 200,390 and Duke's too. 350 and Fz, not so sure.
Generally they are installed in superbikes because a pair of good quality bobbins might cost you 8-10k and Yamaha/ Ktm parts are cheap wrt parts used in superbikes. So people generally don't install them on sub 4lk bikes.
@sarge nice shoes BTW... Futurecat??
Can I have the address of this biking superstore in Pune?
👌👌👌
(Y)
Are the crash bobbins useful for scooters as well? 😅
The perimeter guard would be better! :D
PowerDrift thank you soo much ❤
When you gonna release himalayan review?done with the edits?
The editors are on it. It will be out soon!
I guess it should be applicable right from R15 or Duke 200
Yes it is applicable for all the bikes
as always awesome. Something on helmets
That is a neat suggestion, we will try and incorporate that
Hello everyone.. I would request you to suggest between Benelli TNT 25 or KTM Duke 200....
both are good bikes , but I think benelli TNT 25 is better option if you are considering duke 200 !!
new video every week!
where is the store in pune
The store is located in Balewadi-Baner
where is this store
This store is in Pune!
where in Pune 😁
Sergeant... Is this video series inspired from "MC Garage" of 'MOTOR CYCLIST MAGAZINE' channel????????? 🙂🙂🙂 This is one of the series I'm expecting from almost all the automobile channels to do.. Thanks for the series btw.. 🙂🙂😉😉👌👌👌
So what's the cost???
Good quality ones will cost you upwards of 6000 Rs
Let me know if it's available for RC or Any Frame sliders
Yes, they are available for the RC
PowerDrift Ok Thanks
awesome !!!!!!!
But don't they transfer all the brute shock to chassis and thereby weakining it. It is more expensive than fairings, in fact fairings are meant to be broken by impact so that shock waves don't get to play with engine/chassis and likewise critical components of the bike.
Woah! In case of a crash, the bobbins slide, thereby protecting the bike and the fairings. If you do not have those on the bike, the fairing will get destroyed. Crash bobbins are made up of shock absorbent material, hence the chassis is not affected much. Also the fairing on the motorcycle, costs way more than the crash bobbins.
That's why I love nakeds. Anyways thanks for the reply.
👍👍👍 Z...baby
well said... review the Mahindra Mojo man!
Here it is : th-cam.com/video/AArodz9eS50/w-d-xo.html
Please suggest me a sport bike upto 3:50 lakhs which sounds just like 600cc or bennelli tnt 300
This might help you : th-cam.com/video/yJr0xNsMIyM/w-d-xo.html
Bro, can we use Table mount bushes instead of these bobbins you speak of? They're a lot cheaper. 😂
Just kidding, good piece of advice as always. Not only on Superbikes, but also on all the bikes out there, bobbin's really help. 💯
Do share this good piece of advice with all your motoring friends
how many kms can a bn600gt run Continuously.???
I can ride 300 to 500 Continuously
can this bn600gt ,have the stuff
Thanks dude
Now who the hell will dislike that?
I mean common people
i misheard him saying "Indian mount" -engine mount.
sagar is that yours ? z1000?
In future you'll have one superbike one day ! :)
Wouldn't crash bobbins damage your frame, If you drop your bike while standing still?
Crash bobbins are designed to absorb the force of impact and not transfer them. So in case of a fall, they'll either bend or break but won't transfer the impact to the chassis.
PowerDrift Awesome, thank you for clarifying. Appreciate the feedback.
man big fan
:D

You do realize that you know it from an info that was once passed on to you by someone nice and more experienced. We could have sat on it too, or pass the info to newer "bikers"
