But every day this month, instead of adding your video to my 'watch later' playlist, I IMMEDIATELY watch it, I can't wait until later. I wish every month was December.
My daughter is a single mom of 3 children , 2, 6 and 7 years old. She worked from home and watched them for the 1st year of the pandemic and said it was almost impossible to get anything done. Finally they opened the daycares, so that helped. She is a purchaser for the Navy. She was in the Marine Corps for years and now works for the navy. (Marine Corps is a part of the Navy.) She lives far away from my husband and me, so we cannot help, and the fathers don't do much of anything.
When Jessica was laying down because of the round ligament pain I had to laugh a little in commiseration because as I am watching this I’m doing the same thing for the same reason! Pregnancy symptoms are no fun. Love to y’all!
Also tip for getting up all the glass I learned from working in restaurants - use a hot wet cloth. It will pick up all the little shards that are missed

I’m not a ginger or molasses cookie person at all, but you guys are making me want to try this recipe! I’m fascinated but the dried mustard in it! Also completely unsolicited tip-anytime I’m using something sticky molasses/honey etc I’ll either spray it with Pam before I put it in the measuring cup or put whatever fat is in the recipe in the cup first, so it pours out cleanly and easily.

Little tip on getting the molasses out of the measuring cup….. coat the cup with a little cooking spray/oil before you put in the molasses and it’ll all slide out clean. works for honey and syrups too.

Jessica, You should try the Old Navy built in sculpt leggings. I wore them all through out my pregnancy and still wear them PP. The waist band is “thin” and super stretchy, but then compression all throughout the leggings. They are amazing for maternity.

You should get a belly band! I had terrible round ligament pain as well then I got a belly band. It helps hold the belly up as well as taking pressure off the ligaments and muscles game changer!

We make TONS of gingersnaps each season and always have a little leftover sugar. I pop it into a container and use it for the next batch of cookies OR my husband's favourite is use it in his coffee. The slight spices flavor that's left in the sugar makes it extra yummy.
My grandma used to make us toast, with butter and cinnamon/brown sugar/sugar - in the oven. That’s a way to use that mix if y’all don’t make more cookies. You won’t regret it ✔️
I love your vlogmas so much. The nostalgia that making molasses cookies brings me is wonderful. I made them every year with my great grandmother in Blackhawk, MS. We also made tons of gingerbread cookie ornaments to decorate the Christmas tree. ❤️❤️❤️

I love that you sincerely love your dog. I’ve had to stop watching a couple channels because it feels like their dog is a prop. Yes, I realize I’m only seeing 30 seconds of their life, and they may spend all their off camera time snuggling their dog, but perception is reality and I can’t stomach it when a dog doesn’t get all the loves, so my very long comment is to say thank you for loving your dog on camera as much as I’m sure you do off camera.
Hey just a heads up. Since your cookies have raw eggs in them I wouldn’t keep your cinnamon sugar mixture for more than a couple days in the refrigerator.
When I was pregnant I was in pain by the end of the day as well. My doctor recommended soaking in my tub for 20 minutes with epson salt before bedtime. It worked! I know you can’t do that every night being so busy but hopefully that helps.
I never bought maternity jackets and when I was pregnant with my second, we went trick or treating for Halloween (which is ridiculously cold in Colorado every year for some reason!) and my belly was uncovered the whole time. When we got home, I didn’t feel him moving and was convinced I froze him! I was so traumatized, but still didn’t buy a jacket that covered my belly 🤦🏻♀️. So for Zoo lights during Christmas time, I wrapped two warm blankets around me (under my jacket) and held a third to my belly 😂. Luckily we have lots of help so that was my only job that night. Love the vlogs, always excited when I see the new one pop up!
Haha when Jessica was talking about the tree that broke and said “glitter bomb,” I immediately thought of Parks and Rec when they went to the glitter factory. Love it!
Dont want to be critical but have you thought about getting Pinocchio a seat belt. I really worry in case you ever have an accident or sudden breaking he will fly out via front window. I travel with my pets a lot and know it may happen and really dont wish that for you. Better be safe than sorry🙏
Same thought here. I got a harness + car leash for my smaller dog when he ended up under the dash one time when I had to stop short suddenly. He was fine but I felt terrible. Also, as bad as it would be for Pinocchio to get hurt it would be additionally bad if he was flung into one of them inside the car.
HAVE YOU SEEN THE TRAILER FOR SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE??? (I saw something on tiktok that looks like the 90’s toy gack but it’s for detailing your car. It gets in all the little nooks and crannies to get all the crumbs and dust.)

Don't throw the cinnamon mixture away, put it on toast. Just like cinnamon toast. You could also use it with french toast and caramelize the sugar on it so it has a little bit of crunch!!
My cats ( they are brother/sister and 16 this past September )need a bed like Pinocchio. We changed out our floors when my husband won $10,000 from a Radio contest and removed the carpet and put in hardwood except for bedrooms, our cats miss the carpet and we have beds and blankets ( 5) in our living room , they would love that bed .
Oh my goodness those cookies sound amazing. Tonight my son and i are making rum balls, coconut cookies, and my famous chocolate banana pudding for a party tomorrow.
At the end of my twin pregnancy all that fit were my oversize sweatshirts. Luckily it was winter!! But my wife would always be like “you know you can buy something else to wear” lol

Tip of the day! Spray your measuring cups with non-stick spray before measuring things like molasses and honey and it just slides right out!

That was my same thought, especially since their is egg in the dough. Anything made with it should be cooked.
If you spray your measuring cup with cooking spray first the molasses wont stick as bad and come out way easier

if u make cookies that need brown sugar and regular sugar you could use the leftover mix for that too

You can totally use the brown sugar mix on French toast. That’s how I make mine with a bit of cinnamon.
