What a wonderful event you had! I guess, the preparation took some time and must have been lovely, too! I enjoyed the whole of it: scenery, costumes, smiles, music and atmoshpere! Stunning!
The number of incredible outfits each of you had was mind boggling! Thank you so much for sharing this glimpse of what had to be a fantastic time with like minded women ❤
I enjoyed this thoroughly. It is dreamy and you all seem to have such a great time. I enjoyed the costumes very much. You all look beautiful wearing them. That scene when you are all dressed in white on the cliff is stunning. And I got to see both your aesthetic gowns which are different to any other historical costume I have ever seen!
Thank you for this video, I loved it, I would really like to visit Prince Edward Island one day, not so much because of Anne of Green Gables, but Road to Avonlea. When you were on the sand at the sea, I could hear Aunt Hetty speaking: "I will never forget the days of my youth, when the waves rippled between my toes, taking the pink and silver grains of sand back out to the depths of the sea. There was a peace then. An indescribable feeling of immortality in the ebb and flow of the tide and the seemingly endless stretch of beach and sky. Now, as I gaze out upon those same sparkling waters, I realize that youth is never left behind, but is carried always, gently, in the heart."
Loved the video .... and on a strictly personal thought/comment, I was so very, very pleased to see period-appropriate parasols. Not the fake battenburg-lace ones. Perfect!
I am so glad I found this. I love Green Gables and I love how you all are dressed and I would one day love to visit PEI. Love the tea room! I see you made it to the White Sands Hotel (Delway by the Sea)! Sure brings back memories of my favorite movie, Anne of Green Gables"! Love the dresses, the hair, the hats. Loved it all!!
Wow Taylor, that looks like a fun place to visit to just relax on shore with a cuppa! There were so many great clips of everyone that would make lovely paintings with the light and shadows at play. :) Glad you all had so much fun!
I have never been to taht tea room, must try. All the dresses are wonderful . Love the beaches here, my dad always said that me and my sisters hair would tern red in the summer from us playing in the sain to much. Was the second beach Cabot park? It's my favorite one. But did you get to annie chocolate or Victoria by the sea?
Stunningly beautiful. I've been to Nova Scotia (similiar), but not PEI. Will have to add it to the list of places I want to visit. You all looked amazing and seemed to be having a grand time. Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us.
Oh, this brings back such sweet memories of visiting PEI & the Anne of Green Gables sights way back in 2000! But dressing in Edwardian style would just be the icing on the cake! I hope you had some Sticky Date Pudding with Toffee Sauce for dessert at Galvay-By-The-Sea. I make it every once in a while & it is to die for!
Loved this whole vibe! Sand in the shoes… so real. But the evening dresses!!💃💃🥂

Thank you! It really felt like living in a painting a lot of the time!
When I was 15 my dear mother brought me to PEI and I did this by myself. It was wonderful, so fun to see the grown up version!
This was all basically just indulging our inner 10-year-olds ☺️☺️☺️
I love that you watched Anne of Green Gables while on PEI.
How could we resist?! 😅

So lovely that the sea was still warm enough for bathing! It's gotten quite chilly after the middle of the month.

That tea room was really lovely and she was SO enthusiastic about our costumes which was nice. Tyne Valley Teas!
And yes! Cabot Beach! It was about 10 minutes away from where we stayed! The beaches there were so pretty!
