Whaaat? No visit to Green Gables??? (clutches pearls) ... I know office workers in Toronto who spend their whole summer on the Island because of the lovely people and relaxed vibe.
So glad I found this video. Born and raised on PEI and its so easy to forget just how lucky we are to live here. Great job showing how beautiful our little island is :)
Great video...you hit all my favorite spots...so much more to see...like the Great Canadian Soap Company near The Dunes, Greenwich Beach, Beach Goats near Abram Village etc. etc.
Andrea, thanks so much! You're absolutely right, there's much more to see, and that is always a challenge of what to include in our episodes. Now, tell me more about these goats!! 👍 - Howard
Awesome, love hearing that and please let us know how your trip goes next summer! Thanks so much for watching and hope you'll continue on the journey with us. 👍 -Howard
Great tour of PEI, this will help plan our trip for next yr with all the amazing places visited . Thank you ☺️, love the channel and your videos folks .
John, thanks so much and glad to hear about your trip next year to PEI! Please keep us posted, and if we can answer any questions or point you in the right direction as you plan. Thanks for being on the journey with us! 👍 -Howard
Oh yay!! We always love when that happens ☺️ so fun sharing new places! It really is a beautiful island with so much culture and history, we barely scratched the surface!
Your journalist background definitely shows. Watching your video feels like traveling along with you. You have brought so many amazing places, restaurants, and ice-cream shops in front of us. Truly high quality Vlog! For sure, we will visit a couple places introduced by you in our fall travel to PEI and NS. Thank you!!
Thanks so much for the kind words! How was your trip to PEI and NS?! Any recommendations to pass along for us and other viewers? Thanks for watching and hope you'll continue on the journey with us! 👍 -Howard
After 12 yrs of not being there I finally got to go back in July and going again at the end of September. Family down there and miss it again already. Great video. Keep it up! And yes the thing about p.e.i is if you ask for directions or anything, be willing to talk. 🤣 so friendly and talkative there.
For our 20th anniversary my husband and I went to PEI, staying one night at the West Point Lighthouse. With all your stops on this island I'd love to go back. We entered the island via the extremely long bridge. Of course we had to stop at the Anne of Gables sights. The red sand beaches were wonderful and the warm water made it a relief from the hot day.
I say it all the time, but you two find the best places to go! What a quaint and incredibly beautiful place! Another one on my list and the food!! Oh my!! ❤️❤️
Nice video guys. I'm born and raised in Summerside PEI. You missed a couple things, one is Greenwich beach in St Peters. It has a boardwalk over protected marsh lands and a nature trail just to get to the beach. A lot of people don't go there because of the long walk to get to the beach, but it is white sands for as far as you can see and very few people. Best beach on the Island! The singing sands around Basin Head are really cool as well. When you walk on the sand, it makes weird squeaky sounds and the beach is to die for as well. And You also should have left the Island on the Confederation Bridge rather than the ferry. It is the longest bridge in the world over Ice covered waters and an experience all in itself. And once you hit the other side, you are in NB and only a short drive to Moncton and Magnetic Hill. Glad you enjoyed the Island. If you ever come back, look us up, we are always camping around the three provinces in the summer. Safe Travels!
Danny thanks so much and appreciate all the great recommendations! I know it won't be our last trip to PEI, and many others watching this episode will certainly benefit from a locals perspective! 👍 -Howard
Great video guys, I love your vibe and suggested sights to see. I’ll definitely watch your other videos. I’m travelling out East this summer with my 2 dogs and I wonder what do you do with yours when visiting indoor restaurants?
Thank you so much for making PEI look we great as it is I have lived in PEI and have stayed at twin shores a few summers and have also had Maurice Bernard as my art teacher in Kensington!
Thank you for such a wonderful review of the Island my family and I call home. If you ever come back I can recommend some more wonderful experiences here on the Island.
Just stumbled on to your channel, you both are so sweet, genuine and positive, needless to say, I subscribed , I will be in PEI next week, planning on moving there hopefully and this video helped so much on the positive side. P.S. I have to get that that T-shirt next week!
