- Guess what! I can't add links because my account isn't verified. Kei's video is easy to find on his youtube channel, "Kei's Retro Gaming". The Imgur post may be harder, but is easy to find on the Retroid discord channel and I've also seen links on Reddit. The name of the springs I bought on Amazon Canada is "R2 L2 Trigger Buttons Springs for PS4 Pro Slim JDS-030 and JDS-040 Controller Spring 10 PCS". Good luck!

This works! Thank you for this video. I used 2nd rev Ps4 trigger springs (which were way too short, but unwound one level then was a perfect fit).
Kei's Retro Gaming tear down video is a must. Looks like I never opened the RP4 Pro.

It looks like the hard part is getting the new spring into place.
Thank you for the video guide, the tip about using some pliers is a definite recommendation, makes life much easier when installing the trigger guard part.
This will have to do whilst Retroid return from CNY, I was unfortunate to get a device in the first batch. Thankfully it's working with a DS4 spring.

Thank you for this tutorial, you save my Pocket 4 pro (Day1 buy). R2 fake, i change aldo L2 spring with new AliExpress PS4 spring, it works great!

Some how my PS4 controller spring is too short and always pops out...

i gave up after breaking 3 springs…i guess i’ll have to wait a few weeks for the replacement from retroid
i decided to not give up - spring arm number eight did it!
The last part is way to difficult...
I thought Retroid sent a complete back with the new buttons already installed. And there was just the back to unscrew.
They will, it's just not going to ship until after Chinese New Year (Feb 19th @ the earliest), and I'm expecting they ship it with 4PX so probably a few more weeks on top of that depending on location, I was much too impatient for that 😂
