      He's proven to be a workaholic manager of national /public infrastructure. He's deeper in terms of technical expertise than the current overseeing manager CS Macharia. President and parliament should considered him for promotion as CS of Transportation & National Infrastructure should he reshuffle his cabinet

    Lets face it, President UK's government has done more in road construction than any other administrations prior to his. He deserves fair credit for his efforts to connect the country by road, a very important boost for economic growth of the country. Kudos HE UK

    What happened to the proposed dualling of Mombasa RD? Also the elevated express way will have how many Lanes?

      Financing issues, Kenya wanted a PPP deal but the American firm Bechtel wanted to go the loan route. Probably won't see that happening anytime soon.

      @@MrMaboboz it's was supposed to be an American company doing it, Deal was signed when Obama visited Kenya it was to counter Chinese influence in projects in Kenya, to sooth American s with a infrastructure deal .

    This guy should talk about huge highways like Thika road in our cities' periphery. Those single lane roads should be local roads. We need dual carriages on all our trunk and national roads.

      @@MrMaboboz some kenyans officials wanted kick backs and US companies are punished by their gov't. if they involve in kick backs and other corruption schemes abroad. So they avoided it all together

    to start Mombasa, Mtwapa, Kilifi TO Malindi Lamu Highway Road? Will make economy on the coastal region to grow, the roads is along the Beach (Tourism and business growth for coastal region) the Government will helf with a lot of Jobs to the Citizens in this region. we will appreciate for the start.

    The bridge is excessively expensive. Check out the Lagos 4th Mainland Bridge. It's way longer and cheaper.

      Engineering dynamics is different in every project .people compare Kenya Ethiopia Tanzania sgr like bananas in a market but the terrain materials durability etc are totally different cost of land.

      @@pinchesmbuche4354 The length of the Lagos 4th Mainland Bridge outweighs these metrics. Mind you, it will have the main carriage and a metro rail system. And, it is still cheaper.
