Everyone keeps asking who will the stop the individual players on the Warriors? The bigger question is who’s clamping Jordan? The answer is no one!

There's a total difference between both eras. The '96 Bulls will defensively and offensively will stop the 2017 G. State Warriors because back in the 90s, it was open season ( meaning that NBA players of that time were more aggressive than what you see in this era... Lil too soft ). Either way, If the '96 Bulls play in this era, Michael Jordan himself would be putting up a lot more points than what average a game then.
Pippen too. Dennis Rodman will be a force to be reckoned with when he's wreaking havoc all over the court defensively plus rebounding when he gets the chance.

The rebounding advantage is huge for the bulls. The warriors aint gonna get any 2nd changes with any missed shots. Kukoc and Pippen are slashers and their offensive stats will increase in today's game. They can also spread the court if they want to. That team shot 42% from the arc that season. The warriors DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGHT DEFENSE to handle the bulls. And they definitely do not have an answer for Jordan that can score 50% of the total team score.

Would be fun watching Kerr light up his own guys. Without KD , Rodman/Pippen and Jordan would shut down Klay Curry and Wiggins, and Green would go crazy and foul out possibly even in the first half, or be beaten down if he tried any of his crap he gets away with today against that Bulls era team. The bulls could score/win just like the warriors in the harsh 90s....so it would be easier for them now...opposite for the warriors, they would find it harder to play in the physical 90s.. so it's easier for a dominant team who is use to elbows/hand checking to play in an no-touch league than the other way around...a no-touch dominant warriors team would find it very difficult to start playing physical when they never had to

Wow. Ok. Pip v Durant. That would be some match up. Scottie could probably give KD a real hard time driving to the basket, but KD's outside shots would cause Pip some problems. Pip would have to rely on planning on a couple of steals and breaking up the passing lanes to keep KD from getting the ball. Pip could do that.

Pippen/Rodman and Jordan would take turns locking down Curry , Klay, and game over, and the Bulls offence could put up 140+ a night on the Mini Warriors. Even when KD was there, can you imagine what Rodman would do to him. No the pups have no idea what Rodman would do to KD, and his fragile mind/ego. It would be a bloodbath, and Kerr knows it.

I could see only one scenario the Warriors win... is if the Warriors are allowed to play by the 1996 defense rules and get to flagrant all over the place, and the Bulls have to play by the current rules and it's totally unfair as a game. So literally that's the ONLY way they might win is if the warriors can flagrant MJ so he can only score like 45 average... but we know that most of them aren't likely to hurt them even with hard defense. And then the Bulls gotta play hands tied behind their backs under 3 second no hand check rules and back when they allowed flopping.
THAT'S the only way the Warriors even have a chance to beat the bulls.
Today's rules the Bulls would do fine because MJ would outscore everyone by a lot. And although the Bulls weren't against hand-checking, they honestly didn't play against any other MJ equivalent players that they had to use the same level of flagrants to stop. Dennis would do it sometimes because he was Dennis, but it was more due to being Dennis than out of necessity. I don't remember there ever being a team the Bulls played especially in 96 where they had to use "dirty defense" to stop any certain player.
They might use full court press or maximize the use of MJ's off ball defense but they were almost always steals and blocks that would be perfectly clean today. Dennis' antics were the only thing that would have to let up today.
If they played by 96 rules, I don't like this aspect of the era but I'm pretty sure KD would get hammered and injured out of the series, and not due to dirty play but that's just how it was. I don't think his body could take the hits. I think Steph could be at risk too. We know the Bulls would mostly hold up to injury because they did, and we know that the Warriors wouldn't because they haven't always even without the hard fouls. But let's assume they stayed healthy -- scores were lower then, they'd be lower for them too because defense was tighter. I think it's very possible they could get swept, and I don't think even if they were allowed to try to use harder defense on MJ that it would help much. I just don't see them beating the 96 Bulls.

With hand checking or not both MJ and Harper would bring headaches to Steph and Klay, there would be no safety even under the protection of a screen as those two were like hound dogs chasing you all the time! This is something nobody ever talks but when your best play is shooting threes you're a dead meat to any defender from back then! And the other thing" which one is better: shooting a lower percentage three point shot or attack the rim, draw the foul and get the chance for an easier three point play? And we all know that with MJ, Scottie and Kukoc this is what we can anticipate any single play. How do you stop that? Go on, shoot your threes and see what happens on a good day and then on a bad one!

We have to be open minded people! Don't just pick the Bulls just because they had the best 1-2 punch, (Air Jordan and Mr. Pip Pippen), and the greatest big 3, (Jordan, Pippen and Rodman), of ALL TIME! Let's be fair in these match ups. If in the 90's, (rules), No chance...Bulls, (and I mean this with all due respect), will sweep the Warriors! Now in today's NBA (rules), the Warriors will have a chance to win! If Jordan gets sick and they hire someone to kidnap M.J. then take him to the Philippines, tell Pip that the championship series was moved to Dubai because of CoVid, make Rodman go to Korea for a vacation, and pay Kukoc and Harper a couple of Millions to go to Hawaii with their families! Are we nuts!?! It doesn't matter what era or rules, Bulls will sweep the Warriors in old rules and maybe 5 games in today's rules! Warriors were like Orlando Magic who got swept in the ECF! Shooters: Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Penny Hardaway, Brian Shaw...C'mon man! Who finna guard Steph? Harper or MJ! Who finna guard KD? Pippen or Rodman! Who finna guard Klay? MJ, Harper, Pippen or Rodman...take your pick! Now, who finna guard MJ!?!!!!! "Sorry, I gotta go! Ummm, maybe next time! Are you funky, (cleaning it up for you), kidding me?" That's why sweep or in 5...we haven't even asked about who guarding the rest of the Bulls!

@@nathanmckenzie904 Uh, Kukoc was an awful defender, especially early on in his career. Phil used to literally bench him or make offense/defense subs down the stretch of close games because teams would target him so much. Jordan used to chew him out for being "soft." The Knicks and Pacers used to post him up every time down the court because he could not defend on the low block to save his life. He eventually improved enough to where he wasn't as much of a liability, but it's well-known how much he struggled on that end of the court.
