Editing mistake: in the photo with Muammar Gaddafi and Jaafar Nimeiry, Egyptian president, Gamal Nasser, is highlighted instead of Nimeiry.
    Apologies about that! 😅

I continue to be amazed by the summation of such complicated content (and your pronunciation of players and places) in a 13 minute window. No suggestions yet just happy to be a subscriber 👍

Thank you so much Tina; we put a lot of work into each video, but it's a passion project as well. Glad to hear you (and other viewers) have, for the most part, enjoyed our content!

Guys, as I wrote you before this is so so underrated, your content is great no qestion but Take on more controversial subject , like the "Chernobyl Black rain" , with qestion ´d Moscow pay compensation for the BR, Genocide of Poles in USSR , Kazakhstan holodomor, etc. and you ´ll make it

Thank you so much Eugen; actually, since we're planning to launch another miniseries here on the channel about battles / historical events, I think the topics you recommended definitely would work. So, we'll begin looking in things pretty soon!

I think those would definitely make for some interesting episodes too!

Really interesting video, I honestly didn't know any of this and, staying in North Africa, have you ever considered covering the Halaib Triangle or Bir Tawil?

Actually, yes! We've been considering a video on both for quite a while now.

Oh, really glad to hear it Jiayi; this one definitely was interesting to do research for...kind of similar to Minami-Torishima, in that it was a historical rabbit hole of sorts!

Thanks Matt; yeah, kind of like the other ghost geography we covered (Minami-Torishima), this was a bit of a rabbit hole, but a very interesting chapter in history nonetheless.

Oh, glad you like them! I’ve been wanting to reboot the ghost geography miniseries for a while now...have ideas for episodes about Kaliningrad, the Caprivi Strip, etc.

Wow this was so interesting another great video

Thanks man; yeah, this kind of was a research rabbit hole, but really an interesting, if overlooked chapter of history. It was pretty much the same with the other territory we covered in the ghost geography miniseries and, I can say, it's going to be the same with the next. 😅 That's what makes it interesting though!

I didn't see anything about the Chaco War in the early 1930's between Paraguay and Bolivia over the Gran Chaco region .

I found this on Google earth and can’t find any info on it. It looks abandoned and seems like it has scorch marks possibly
