Very W list. Maybe would have included Joseph vs Wammu as an honourable mention! 100% the Pucci fight is the best. Nothing replicated the shock of DIO’s stand to me again until the scene where Pucci moved his eye in stopped time, and it only got crazier from there.

I find it smart that with sticky fingers you can open through a flat surface or add a dimension to a depthful surface and pass through that (although you don't know where the other side is opening into unless you enter and exit as you run through the zippers)

Part 4 is the best, it feels more relatable, not too much larger than life, contained but not too much, good pacing, room for more creative crazy horror and Bizzare stuff.

I tried to prioritize the fight choreography and animation quality for this list, it’s largely intended for people who have never seen the series and need a good hook, Joseph vs Whamu and Giorno vs Diavolo just barely didn’t make the list, I decided on the secco fight because I think it’s the #1 most underrated fight for how well choreographed it was. Uuuuunfortunately part 1 fights didn’t make the cut because they tended to have a lot more still frames of animation that wouldn’t be as impressive to a non jojo fan who’s used to higher frame rates, not to say I don’t like them, but your average weeaboo tends to be more critical. I’m glad you enjoyed the list though :)

Howdy there, I love that fight, just not as much as the others for a few reasons, the big ones being that in the actual show, there is a LOT of time that passes between each moment of action and it gave me too much time to relax (like enough time to go to the bathroom and come back before risotto strikes again if I wanted to) the other big reason is it didn’t have the emotional charge some of the higher fights had, but it’s still very creative, brutal, and we love to see a villain fight

Dio Brando basically did this to Jonathan. Jonathan earned his win fair and square. Dio came back with sneak attack and zombie army for the kill, and plot armor of 2nd coffin for the res.
Netflix sucks as a corporation, but it cannot be ignored that part 6 was a lower priority at David Pro than is typical for Jojo, and that’s a shame. Also, willing to bet covid played some role. But yes Netflix does suck.

There's also the fact David Productions was working on 4 different animes at the same time requested by Fuji TV (they own DP), but even then it has better animation than Parts 1, 2 and 4

I hate the part 6 final battle. If anything, Dio vs Jotaro should have been 1st. Personally, I hold a grudge against part 6 just because it was too confusing and hard to understand maybe. Dio will always be my favorite Jojo villain and his battle against Jotaro made it even more hype and intense.
