I had to get one or two of them at a certain angle to catch on the body of the truck, but they didn’t give me too much grief. Are the holes too big for the size of rivet you are using?
It held up nicely, just recommend wiring it up properly. I’m not sure if I got a faulty wire harness or if it was a me problem, but my light bar liked to flash randomly. I may put it back on with a wire harness I create, because I haven’t had any issues with my new light bar.

How did you get the gold rivets to close on themselves? I’m struggling big time

I noticed that too, so angled it so it barely hit the edge of the hood and it didn’t bother me.

I connected the negative straight to my battery and connected the positive to one of the empty places in my fuse box inside the cabin.
