It's good to see another competitor in the 4s range that has lifted the durability level once more for the bashing market, makes the other leading companys sit up and take notice in turn hopefully pushing them to raise the bar even further which benefits us all, Good job Corally, great vid once again
Yeah Arrma might need to rethink/redesign their 4s line cause if they come out with a new body mostly plastic 4s truck like the v1s for 429$ to 499$ it won't compete with this sketer
@@cwatson42785 Arrma also got lazy and didn't push the 4s line because customers wanted faster and "better" so they leaned on their 6s line like the Kraton and such.
Brother, you have convinced me more then i was yesterday and i already made my mind to get one!! But your video nailed it. I questioned the Scale of it, and the internet went bananas 😕, it has nothing to do how i feel and see this truck❤ Need to check the unboxing vid now 😍
@@RazorRC I've always felt that 1/10 monster trucks should be bigger than stadium trucks, unlike the Traxxas Stampede or Rival MT10 which are shorter than a Bandit. This is about the same size as a 2.5 T-Maxx though isn't it?
Finally another truck that can take a beating and can take some more. A fun looking rc hopefully the others corally has lined up for this year are as impressive as this one in the 6s lineup. Thanks for the bash and your opinion on it.
I'm another who'd like to see it with full punch and bigger tires to improve the flip speed. It looks like it's very durable, handles great and has nice level flight, but I was expecting a 1/10th on 4s to flip like crazy.
Looking at this run, I agree with you, they do reset the bar. This looks like a very durable basher. The first corally Kronos came out, I spend my money and end up with disappointment. Looks like they raise the bar with sketer. Will keep on eye on this one, looks promising. Thanks for vid. Much appreciated 🙏
Really like this truck..i kind of reminds me of the vorteks, wich is one of my favorits in terms of light bashing..and it still goes fast on the tarmac, thats a +⚡️💥👍keep going team corally!
I have a love-hate relationship with our vorteks. It’s taken a lot of time and money to make it a good basher. If it doesn’t behave itself this spring, it’s getting replaced by one of these or an mt8.
2 questions: why does the fan sound like it’s speeds up and down? Also how does it compare to the Maxx with wide kit in width. Thanks for the great video
Razor getting some mixed reviews, on speed, a lot of people are saying it’s not that fast? What’s your honest , cus sometimes videos can deceiving. Thanks bro😉👍🏼💯
Looks like it drives really well, pretty impressed with the traction too and it seems to grip nicely for stock tires. Whenever I see you bashing here I get super jealous and wish I had a place like this near me lol
First! Lol. It took some high speed hits and kept going. Definitely Corally builds their cars to be fast and handle great. Now if they nail the durability, watch out Armma and Traxxas. Plus their cars are typically cheaper than the competitors! Kinda shocked how they crammed all those metal parts into this car and kept it under $500. It's a killer value for sure.
Not to mention their high quality electronics that come with the sub-500 dollar truck 😁. Corally is really a big threat to the bigger dogs in RC world.
I used to bike at that park!😂 are you still in the Bay Area?? If so I’m thinking about getting into the rc game! Maybe one of the monster trucks or a trophy truck? Any good spots near by??
Kick the punch up. Lower the brakes, Put the rear shocks in one position on the bottom thicken the oil… Razor tuned!! Not bad… Bash it again after your changes!!! Thanks for the video
@5:11 ouch that was a hard hit! Still the Sketer took it like it was nothing Impressive! This Sketer could be the best light-basher on earth, beating the Maxx and WideMaxx
just had a question about shocks, usually shock caps have pivot balls in them so they can pivot on the shock tower, I fitted hpi d8 shocks to my losi DB Pro and they do not have pivot balls in the shock caps, so they cannot twist and pivot on the shock tower. They are just fixed and cannot move, is this a bad thing? thanks.
@@RazorRC ya the d8 has a plastic piece in the cap, the losi spacers on the tower fit perfectly inside them. Just wondering if it is a bad thing if the shocks cannot pivot. Thank you!
Razor you should get a pair of the original 3.8 badlands and not mx38, on 1/2 offset raid wheels for that, i think itd be the perfect fit, or i guess maybe mx28 badlands with 17mm wheel hex
It's a cool car and looks like it drive good and aggressive what I like. The air control looks kinda 🙁🥱 but good tires will help the thing flip faster I think. But nice vid keep up uploading content🤟🏻
Pretty narrow stance for a stunt truck. Maybe its just the video but it looks like it is a little on the light side, or maybe the suspension just needs some adjusting.
It's tough but I think to much went into making it so that it's driving ability has been missed 🤔 hopefully a little tuning will help because it's got lot's to like 👍
I own the Arrma Big Rock also. I've had nothing but trouble out of it, Arrma built a cheap RC and the fan boys promote it like it's great. I regret my Arrma purchase and almost never drive it, I'll probably give it to my nephew so he can learn to work on RC cars.

I think some rear shock tuning and this thing would be perfect. Maybe some back flip tyres for more air control 🤔 awesome video as always mate!
