Hi So glad to see this My name is Phillip Namanworth and I was the keyboard player for the show at the Belasco during its original run. Great to play for TimCurry, Tim O’Brian ( author) And cast I had taken the chair after the closing of Jesus Superstar where I was keyboard player as part of the rock band Randall’s Island. All this was before movies were made of these shows. It was an electric time in NYC Good luck Science Fiction lives Good health Phillip Namanworth
Very cool to read your testimony. That production is often recalled with some dismay, as the show didn't last long in that first Broadway run, but I've heard some audio samples recorded live, as uploaded on this site, and one can hear the audience's laughter at the expected moments. I know it would have been great to have seen the great Tim Curry and O'Brien performing their now legendary characters on stage like that.
A friend of mine met him at an appearance he made at the Castro in San Francisco, just a few years ago. She got her picture taken with him, and had a great experience.
Hahaha! Nell's snazzy comment about the hand gesture had me rolling on the floor!!😂😂😂❤❤ Always been my favorite! My mom allowed me to dress up like (a much less revealing) Columbia when I was 12. I saw it and was hooked!!❤❤❤
My beautiful daughter is in ROCKY for the 3rd time this weekend! She's loved the movie since age 11 since the 1st time she watched it & danced the time warp!
The problem with showing RHPS tp your kids at a young age is that you can never know when they'll break out with a chorus of I'm Just a Sweet Transvestite From Transexual Transylvania. I'm 71 years old now and still have very wonderful memories of going to see the show. I never dressed up but I did the Time Warp every time and brought rice, nrwspaper (to fan the fog away on pool), bread (for a toast), spray bottles (to make it rain), etc. It was one of the best times of my life! But I'm pretty sure the theater owners hated us! LOL
Nell was fantastic in New Haven this past Saturday october 12th. Met her before the show and she is truly wonderful in person! She did a little q n a which was very funny. She also ran up onstage to lip along to Time warp! Shadow cast was very funny, everyone was bananas, an 8 year old girl was dressed as Frankie, and she won! Monumental night of fun!
This is so great! My parents took me the first time to Rocky when I was 6 and we had the soundtrack on vinyl and I’d listen to it on repeat. Still my favorite soundtrack ever!
I introduced my daughter to RHPS when she was about 5. Not every day or anything, but definitely every Halloween. I also had the soundtrack. We both love music and singing. FF to 3 years later, she's 8, and we are going on a family trip. I'm driving, she's in the middle next to grandparents (!!!) And my RHPS soundtrack comes on, we're singing, my husband too, and I look through the rear view mirror and there's my precious angel singing "Toucha, Toucha, Toucha Me" next to my 2 mortified parents!!!😂 I will admit I questioned my parenting a lot that day... But then decided, fugg it!! It's a musical and a classic and something her family, except my parents, is involved in... turned out GREAT! She was Columbia for 2 Halloweens and 3 , not midnight, showings... eventually got to PLAY Columbia, for 3 years, in our cities theater!! Proud momma
I loved this so much! These 3 are so funny when they get together 😂 The only thing that would have made it better would have been if the beautiful Tim Curry had been there 💋 ❤❤ Little Nell is awesome. She is always up for a chat 🇦🇺 😍
I remember telling my mom that I was at Rocky Horror shows to be able to stay out late on Saturdays in the 90s! 😅☠️ The Time Warp comes on VH-1 and I'm like "Who are these freaks?!" My mom knew I lied! So I started watching "RHPS" in the years following and now my daughter is obsessed! 😅 Funny story and love these guys! Tim Curry is MISSING from this reunion! 😭

These three are such a hoot!
I met Barry in july. He's so sweet and funny

❤love to you three. Love Rocky since the first time back in the day. Awesome. Still is.

Great interview. Love all 3... but Nell is a legend❤❤❤

It's not remarked upon often enough, but Patricia Quinn probably has the most famous lips in film history.
OMG. Love all three of them! Thank you for being who you are!

Maam why the fuck would you have a 5 year old child watch that.
Disney better make a 4K release of The Rocky Horror Picture Show for the 50th Anniversary. It already should been out there!
@@jjphoenix4055 Pretty sure there are special releases in the works for the 50th anniversary!
I’ve found my zen at the Clinton Street Theater on Saturday nights.
This is a treat!!
Awesome!
Barry is still way way hot!!
Everybody rocknroll and thank you.
Can't wait to meet Pat next week. They all seem like a blast!
Oooooooooo!!! I need to look up this tour!!!
I adore Patricia Quinn. ❤
Can't wait to meet Barry!
He is divine
I agree.
Mz. Magenta… you crack me up.
Will always have "Fever" for Nell in both the edit and extended versions...with the flick book and pin badge💖🏳🌈💋
Where's Janet, dammit?
I think the show would have run a lot longer if it were in a smaller non- broadway venue

💚💜💚
My daughter has been with me twice.😊💋
🎉🎉🎉🎉Tim Curry not involved I'm not intrested.I will watch the movie.Love u all good luck on ur tour❤
A stint like this would probably be too hard on him, given his poor health now.
@@barrymoore4470 yes but its not Rocky Homer without him.Still love them all.
Hmmm, Susan Sarandon didn't show up?? Aren't you surprised??😅
didn't you have any intelligent comments to make, or just whatever that was?
Richard O'Brien isn't there either so what point are you trying to make? There are lots of these interviews and Susan can't be at every one.
She's done other reunion panels in the past. She's got other commitments/ engagements.
