Making a tab base valance. Tutorial.

In this tutorial, I will show you how to replace a blind with a tab base valance with café rod detail. As the existing blinds were never used and something was needed to match the tab headed curtains, a valance in the same fabric was the perfect answer.
I show you the components needed for making up and fixing to the wall, including the tools I use. I go through complete instructions for a perfect valance including measuring and simple tab calculations. You will see the techniques, tips and tricks I use for making and setting the tabs in place and completing the blind with Velcro fixings.
